Nose sebum charcoal cleansing balm: HEEDA Jirisan Moist

How did it feel on dehydrated combination skin with lots of nose sebum?

I tend to have more sebum on my nose than elsewhere, so after going to sleep without cleansing, there were days when my nose felt bumpy the next day. I usually prefer cleansing balms because cleansing oils feel too slippery, cleansing waters feel too light, and foam cleansers can leave my skin feeling tight.

This product started as a firm balm, then turned into a soft oil-like texture as it met body heat. When I massaged it over my nose and the butterfly zone around it, the bridge of my nose felt smooth even without scrub particles, and it left a soft, velvety feel afterward.

How did I use it?

I opened the top lid and the clear inner cover, then scooped out a small amount with the included spatula. After massaging the solid balm over my face for about 30 seconds, it melted with body heat and turned oil-like.

Once it had melted into an oil, I added water to emulsify it, carefully massaged again for about 30 seconds, and rinsed several times with water. I paid extra attention to massaging the butterfly zone around my nose.

Did my skin feel tight after washing?

For me, it did not leave a strong feeling of dryness or tightness after cleansing. It may be useful reference for dehydrated combination skin that worries about sebum but also finds post-wash tightness uncomfortable. After patting away the water with a towel, I applied essence or cream as usual.

Was the container easy to use and store?

The lid was one-touch, and a spatula was included. Even when I kept the spatula stuck into the product rather than in its spot on the lid, the lid still closed, so that was how I stored and used it.
