While hunting for a good salt bread spot in Songdo, I found Cozy Bear (코지베어), a café bakery in Incheon! It only opened recently, but word is out that it's a salt bread hotspot, and it often sells out later in the day. Off to the Songdo academy district we go~
Cozy Bear Songdo opening hours and parking
Cozy Bear is open daily 9:00–19:00. For parking, you can use the Songdo Caris Plaza underground garage with fee support, or the Songdo 13 public parking lot.
The underground garage offers fee support, and since the first 30 minutes are free, you don't need to settle any fee if you're only picking up. The Songdo 13 public lot is above ground, and the shop entrance is right across from it, so if there's a space, parking there seems easier~ The Caris Plaza rate is ₩1,500 per 30 minutes, just so you know! For the restroom, you use the one in the building.
Cozy Bear exterior and atmosphere
Cozy Bear is a café bakery in the Songdo academy district with a light yellow sign that gives it a cozy feel.

When does Cozy Bear bake its salt bread?
Cozy Bear has no other pastries and focuses purely on salt bread. They use French fermented butter and Guérande sea salt and bake twice a day, at 9:00 and 14:00, so if you visit then you can get freshly baked salt bread haha

Even bears love Cozy Bear's salt bread lol A café in the Songdo academy district that focuses on salt bread and coffee~

How many seats does Cozy Bear have?
The interior is on the small side, but with two 4-person tables and one 2-person table, you can have a quiet Songdo date and enjoy coffee and salt bread in the shop, or

there are also two outdoor tables, perfect for eating outside when the weather is nice~

The salt bread smell drifted out from the entrance, and the buns were the first thing I saw as I walked in! Luckily I went early in the morning, so the shelves were well stocked haha

Cozy Bear bakes its salt bread with care, using French fermented butter and Guérande sea salt~ I heard the red beans for the ang-butter (red bean paste and butter) salt bread are domestic beans boiled in the shop!

They're serious about salt bread, but also serious about coffee, this café in the Songdo academy district~ They apparently use beans from a national-team barista, so I'll have to try the coffee next time haha

If you buy 8 Cozy Bear salt breads, they pack them in a pretty box like this!

Cozy Bear menu and salt bread prices
See the Cozy Bear menu board (as of October 2026). The drink list isn't huge, but there are plenty of coffees, plus non-coffee drinks, ades and teas! The default beans are said to be nutty and full-bodied haha

Here are the Cozy Bear salt bread prices. The buns were on the big side~
- Plain salt bread ₩3,500
- Ang-butter salt bread ₩5,800
- Garlic salt bread ₩5,000
- Potato salt bread ₩4,500
- Castella salt bread ₩5,500
I ordered the garlic salt bread (₩5,000), potato salt bread (₩4,500) and castella salt bread (₩5,500), all to take home haha

If you join the receipt review, you get one free salt bread, so don't miss that perk~

How does Cozy Bear pack salt bread for takeout?
Each Cozy Bear salt bread comes in its own paper wrapper, packed in a cute bear paper bag~

Delicious salt bread time in my pretty home~

My plate is really big, but three salt breads filled it right up! haha

Is it still good hours later? Potato, garlic and castella salt bread
Even when I ate Cozy Bear's salt bread a little while after it was baked, the flavor and texture were still alive. Eating three at once is a lot, so I cut them in halves and tasted them first haha
Potato salt bread (4,500 won)
Some salt breads have hardly any salt on top, or the salt just falls off.. but Cozy Bear's potato salt bread has plenty of salt on top, so the salty charm is strong haha Inside there's fluffy potato! They said they boil domestic potatoes themselves, and it's fluffy yet soft with a mild, plain taste~ The combo of fluffy potato and buttery flavor is a winner!
Garlic salt bread (5,000 won)
A garlic salt bread made with domestic garlic and Cozy Bear's secret sauce! The faint garlic aroma made my mouth water, and the garlic sauce is brushed on the well-baked crust, with a not-too-strong garlic scent inside too, plus the deep flavor of butter. Amazing haha

Castella salt bread (5,500 won)
Castella (sponge cake) crumbs are sprinkled on top, with soft custard cream inside~ The cream melts away without being too sweet, and with the deep buttery flavor of the salt bread added, I bet it would vanish in seconds with coffee haha
Cozy Bear, a Songdo salt bread bakery: final verdict
Cozy Bear is a café bakery in Songdo, Incheon, where you can enjoy a cozy, quiet atmosphere. The only dessert is salt bread, made with deeply flavorful French fermented butter, Guérande salt and premium flour, so the crisp texture survives even after cooling, and it's said to be known as a Songdo coffee hotspot too, with beans roasted by a national-team barista haha
They bake twice a day, so visiting at 9:00 or 14:00 gets you freshly baked salt bread, and the flavor and texture hold up even a while later. Cozy Bear, a Songdo salt bread spot, highly recommended~
