Orange Bagel in Suwon: are there still bagels in the evening?

If you go to Orange Bagel in Gosaek-dong, Suwon in the evening, the bagels are almost all sold out. If you're heading there for bagels, I recommend going before 4pm, and around 11am you can pick from a wide variety :)

A blog neighbor posted about visiting Orange Bagel, and it suddenly made me want to go, so I stopped by in the evening after work. I go to Orange Bagel in Gosaek-dong so often now that I find my way without even turning on the navigation.

There's a big parking lot right in front of Orange Bagel, so it's a great Suwon bagel spot for visiting in a group. There's no barrier gate and no time limit on parking, so it's also a comfortable café for working on a laptop.

6:30pm on a weekday: 6 bagel types left at Orange Bagel

I visited Orange Bagel, a Suwon café, around 6:30pm after work. I'd only ever come in the morning, and this was my first evening visit. I never expected it to be this bad! Only 6 kinds of bagels were left, so the choice was narrow, and I couldn't even catch a glimpse of the pretty, tasty-looking ones. All empty... so sad.

On my weekday evening visit, there were 6 bagels left in total.

Scallion cream bacon bagel sold out? Rye bagel with scallion cream cheese

My favorite at Orange Bagel is the scallion cream bacon bagel, but it was gone.. Then I saw scallion cream cheese sold separately in the fridge, so I ordered a rye bagel and the scallion cream and made my own scallion cream bacon bagel, hahaha

Orange Bagel × Suwon Samsung Bluewings collab drinks

This is the drink menu at Orange Bagel.

It looks like Orange Bagel is doing a collab with Suwon Samsung Bluewings right now. The collab drinks are the Blue-White-Red Refresher (청백적 리프레셔) and Big Bird Sparkling. My husband is a Suwon Samsung fan ("Susam" fans), so shouldn't Susam fans absolutely drink these? I'm not a die-hard fan, but since my husband is, I ordered the Blue-White-Red Refresher.

Orange Bagel Naver review event: hidden drink or bagel chips

If you join the Naver review at Orange Bagel, you can get either a hidden drink or bagel chips as a freebie. For the review you need to post nice photos along with the required keywords. The drink depends on what the shop has that day, and the bagel chips are packaged like this :-)

Besides the drink menu above, the showcase also has beer and juices, so enjoy them with your bagels.

Bluewings merchandise to browse while you wait

While waiting for our order, we spent time looking at the Bluewings goods displayed in Orange Bagel. My kid has seen these things a lot, so he picked up an umbrella and stamped the guestbook, and we played around for a bit.

What we ordered at Orange Bagel and how it tasted

The buzzer went off and I picked up our order. I had the Blue-White-Red Refresher, a rye bagel and scallion cream cheese, and my friend ordered a salmon bagel with a hot café latte.

I have kids with me, so I was going to head up to the 2nd floor but decided to eat on the 1st. Through the window behind us you can watch the bagels being made. Orange Bagel, a Suwon bagel favorite, makes them in-house. I also spotted 1 baby chair on the 1st floor.

I don't really like salmon, so my friend ate the salmon bagel alone. She said it was delicious, polished it off in no time, and said it was filling with the latte. As anyone who has tried Orange Bagel knows, it's a taste that needs no long explanation.

Rye bagel with plenty of scallion cream cheese: ₩300 extra on the side

I spread a generous amount of scallion cream on my rye bagel. Come to think of it, the scallion cream bacon bagel isn't made with a rye bagel, and ordering the cream separately costs ₩300 more, but personally I like ordering it separately and slathering on lots of cream. I'm going to order it that way from now on, haha

What does the Blue-White-Red Refresher taste like?

I completely fell for the Blue-White-Red Refresher. Can you see how well it captures the Suwon Samsung Bluewings colors? :) There's coconut inside, so the texture is nice, and it was pleasantly sweet, easy to drink haha. When you mix it, it turns a mysterious color, and my kid found it fascinating and pretty. My husband is an iced-coffee-in-winter guy (얼죽아), but if I bring him here he'd probably drink this or the sparkling.

After filling my stomach, I went up to the 2nd floor for a moment to use the restroom. Orange Bagel is usually so busy that I could never take photos, but today the 2nd floor wasn't crowded, so I took lots of shots of the interior.

With group tables like these, Orange Bagel in Suwon is also good for meetings and get-togethers. It has a retro feel, is prettily decorated with all kinds of props, and the chandelier is glamorous and pretty :)

Next time: the ₩7,500 Good Morning set before 10am

Orange Bagel's Good Morning set is ₩7,500 for both Set A and Set B. I don't know when, but I'd love to come before 10am and enjoy the Good Morning set at leisure. Isn't that a price you absolutely have to eat?

Going up the 2nd-floor stairs, I saw a poster saying bulk orders are possible. If you need catering for an event, I expect everyone would love it if you order from popular Orange Bagel. Orange Bagel is satisfying whenever I visit, and I enjoyed it again today. Thank you!
