Gangnam EEG center reading my low-energy brain waves: ENS Brain Map
In short
ENS Brain Map is an EEG (brain wave test) and neurofeedback center near Hanti Station in Gangnam, Seoul. Feeling unmotivated and often leaving belongings behind when getting off transport, the writer took the roughly 20-minute ENS Brain Map EEG test and a results consultation for ₩130,000, about 90 minutes in total. The reading really did show a 'drained, low-energy' brain wave pattern, which the writer found fascinating.

Why I got an EEG test at ENS Brain Map in Gangnam
Lately I haven't been able to get my usual get-up-and-go. I've been dragging and unmotivated, so I wondered if something was wrong and went to ENS Brain Map near Hanti Station in Gangnam for an EEG test. Besides the low motivation, I'd also been forgetting things a lot, like leaving stuff on the bus.
An ENS brain map is a standard EEG analyzed by computer and visualized with colors and graphs. It shows indicators such as concentration, stress, arousal and left-right brain balance. Here's my review covering the result reading, cost, price and time needed :)

How does the EEG test go? Does it hurt?
- Price & cost: ₩130,000
- Time needed: about 90 minutes including the consultation

The EEG test at ENS Brain Map records the brain's electrical activity with electrodes attached to the scalp, and the test itself takes about 20 minutes. The process is very simple: you just relax and look at the monitor as instructed, and that's it. Of course it's harmless to the body, and there was no pain at all.
What does the consultation after the EEG tell you?

The consultation at ENS Brain Map starts with looking at your left and right brain wave graphs and a brain function analysis report. You can look into sleep regulation (insomnia), depression, emotional control, stress control, clearing wandering thoughts, concentration, short-term memory, attention and more in a more scientific way. I was told this data can help with learning and emotional regulation, and is also used in various ways such as diagnosing illness and checking treatment effects.
My ENS Brain Map EEG result reading

Here's what I heard about my brain waves in the ENS Brain Map reading. My arousal level is low, so I make a lot of mistakes. I only get absorbed in things I'm interested in, and could even fall into bad habits. There's also the exact opposite model-student type, who are naturally good at managing daily life. My pattern is relaxed and stable, but once anxiety shoots up, it doesn't settle down again.
I'm indifferent to anything that isn't interesting, so I forget and lose things easily. I'm careless, like making silly mistakes while studying. Once a feeling of dislike comes up, I can't handle it and just let go. I'm stubborn.
My brain is well developed in certain areas, but there are parts it isn't understanding well. My intelligence has some unevenness. Short-term memory is good, but long-term memory is very weak.
The left brain handles idealistic, logical judgment and the right brain handles emotional feeling, and apparently mine often go the complete opposite way. When this is out of sync, it can cause problems with reading comprehension, understanding, thinking, judgment, long-term memory, metacognition, language use, concentration and more.
My innate tendency is somewhat diligent but with little power to break through. I have a lot of ambition, but when I hit a wall I just stop. If I get past that, I can grow, they said. I have a lot of wandering thoughts, and I'm positive. My current state is slightly lethargic.
My innate stimulus control is good, rest is fine and concentration is fine, but my attention is weak, so I only do what I like and am indifferent to the rest. That's why I keep making little mistakes. Introverted. My drive to act is down right now because I'm in a bad mood.
My symmetry is slightly broken, so I tend to distort situations, and I'm a bit down and droopy. I wouldn't call it hot-tempered, but I do flare up with irritation every now and then. I'm not extremely vulnerable to stress, but not great either, and I'm a little scattered.
My brain age is normal, but I'm a bit stubborn. Short-term memory is quite good. My innate self-control and learning ability are more than enough at an average level. But my attention is lacking and integration isn't going well, so my ability to use things efficiently in the moment is a bit weaker, they said.

Is the ENS Brain Map EEG test in Gangnam worth trying?

I'd recommend ENS Brain Map in Gangnam for students who want to boost their learning results and adults who struggle with emotional control. I'd had no motivation lately, and sure enough my waves came out slightly low on energy, which I found fascinating. Still, it's a relief that there's no big problem.
When I told people around me, they were all amazed and said they wanted to try it too, going on about how this is really scientific, right? That's the end of my review on EEG test cost, price, result reading and time needed ♡
