Suwon pizza place, no-wait hot chili potato half-and-half: Low Five
In short
Low Five Sinpung is a Western restaurant on Sinpung-ro in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, known for its corn pizza. Two women walked in at 2pm on a weekday with no wait and ordered a half corn, half hot chili potato pizza, hot pot pesce (spicy seafood) pasta and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The hot chili potato pizza beat expectations, and with a spicy pizza the writer recommends a cream pasta over the pesce.

With the weather this crisp, I bet a lot of you are planning dates in Haenggung-dong! Let me introduce Low Five Sinpung (로우파이브 신풍), a corn pizza spot in Haenggung-dong that's perfect as a stop on your date route.
What are Low Five Sinpung's hours, and is there parking?
Low Five Sinpung is at 32 Sinpung-ro, Paldal-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi, South Korea (1st floor). It's open 11:30-21:00 and closed on Wednesdays. Break time is 15:00-16:50, and last order is 19:40.
There's no parking, so you'll need to use a nearby public car park.
Low Five Sinpung exterior and terrace seating

There are two Low Five locations in Haenggung-dong, and I visited the Sinpung branch! It was my first time at this one, and its antique-style interior, just like the Haenggung branch, left an impression on me.

There are also terrace seats outside where you can eat, so before it gets too cold, pizza and beer here in Haenggung-dong would be so good haha
Inside Low Five Sinpung: atmosphere and seating

The outside of Low Five was lovely, but the inside was just as stunning! Let me show you around in detail.

As a famous Western restaurant in Haenggung-dong, Low Five has a lot of seats inside, so it works for a date and also for a group get-together. The interior has a real European feel too, so it looked like a good place to go with anyone :)

Is there a wait at Low Five on a weekday afternoon?
I went at 2pm on a weekday and got in right away with no wait. On weekends there is a wait at Low Five, so I recommend joining the waitlist on Catch Table first.
Low Five Sinpung menu and QR code ordering

Here's the menu at Low Five Sinpung! You order through the QR code on the table, so I could browse each item on my phone and choose at my own pace, which I liked.
What two women ordered at Low Five Sinpung

For drinks we got orange juice and lemonade! The lemonade went really well with the pizza, but the orange juice turned out to be 100% fresh-squeezed :) so it made a nice, bright pairing with the pizza.

Besides soft drinks, Low Five Sinpung also sells beer and wine, so it looked like a good place to pair pizza with wine or beer in Haenggung-dong.

I ordered Low Five's signature corn pizza and the hot chili potato pizza as a half-and-half, plus the hot pot pesce pasta (seafood pasta).

Two women visited that day, and one pizza plus one pasta was just right haha
Corn pizza vs hot chili potato pizza: which was better?

On Low Five's signature corn pizza, the corn is topped in long pieces, so you get corn all the way to the last bite. And the hot chili potato pizza?!! It was way better than I expected.
I enjoyed the corn pizza too, but personally the potato pizza was even better. If you want both flavors like me, I recommend trying the half-and-half!

Hot pot pesce pasta taste and menu pairing tips
As you can see, Low Five's hot pot pesce pasta is packed with seafood, so it's spicy but full of seafood aroma. It's a great pick if you like spicy food :)
I like pesce, so I ordered it, but the pizza I chose was a little spicy, so I think a cream pasta would have paired better than pesce haha If you can't handle spice, I recommend a cream pasta instead of pesce.
Is Low Five Sinpung worth it? Final verdict
Low Five Sinpung is a great Haenggung-dong date restaurant, with a lovely interior and tasty food across the menu. With plenty of variety and lots of seats, I'd also recommend it for group gatherings :)
I went with a friend, and I thought the food, service and space were all perfect, so I'm 10000% going back. You should visit too!
