Which beach towel did I use for camping?
While looking for a thin, large towel for camping, I tried the Lifeclue beach towel. It is a dry towel that differs from a regular cotton towel.
It felt less bulky and lighter than the cotton towel I had been using, so it was easy to store and carry. The one I used was the VIVAVACAY Yellow color.
It measures 100×180cm and weighs 363g. Made of 88% polyester and 12% nylon, this microfiber beach towel is described as being absorbent and easy to shake free of sand and other debris.
How were the design and feel?
I liked the Western-inspired design and yellow color. It felt different from common patterns, so simply spreading it out was enough to create a nice mood.
The edges had an overlock finish to keep the threads from unraveling.
Above all, it felt soft. Since it was not thick, it was also nice to use as a thin summer blanket.
How did I use it for camping and day trips?
I spread it on the ground to set the mood or laid it over a picnic mat. Its ability to dry quickly even when wet made it convenient for these uses.
The cotton towel I had used before got dirty quickly and took up a lot of space, which was inconvenient. I had been looking for a thin, easy-to-carry towel to pack with my camping gear.
This beach towel was thin and light, making it easy to carry around in summer.
The color also went well with the camping equipment I already own.
I liked the design, so I found myself bringing it along often whenever I went on an outing.
It looked compact when folded, but it was generously sized once opened. It worked as a large towel, and when needed, it was nice to use as a cover in place of a blanket.
Its vivid color gave off a summer-vacation feeling even when spread out indoors. I also liked how the color came through in photos.
It was handy for both outdoor and indoor use, and I thought it would be nice to bring along to a water park, too.
How do you remove debris and wash it?
When sand or other debris got on it, a light shake was enough to remove it, so care was not difficult. If using a washing machine, wash it separately in 30°C water, and do not use a dryer.
Are there other colors?
VIVAVACAY comes in three colors in the same design: Red, Green, and Yellow. RELAX&REFUEL is available in Black. I liked the Yellow color I used so much that I wanted to buy another color, too.
