Cheonan brunch café for a break before kid pickup: Geurimseu Cafe

Geurimseu Cafe (그림스카페) is a brunch favorite on Mijuk 5-gil in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, and this was my second visit. I came for a little fresh air and a rest before going to pick up my kid ^-^ The air is nice, and the weather these days is sooo good, perfect for heading somewhere open and airy. It's a place that suits this kind of weather, so I came back~!

Where do you park at Geurimseu Cafe?

The parking is roomy, both right in front of the café and in the lower block. It must have been peak time, because the lot by the entrance was full, so I parked in the lower lot and strolled up, looking at the trees ^-^ Still spacious and pleasant, this Cheonan brunch café, Geurimseu Cafe!!!

Plant-filled windows and a photo zone

Inside, the floor-to-ceiling windows and glass tile give it a cool, comfortable, open feel that's really great. There are sooo many green plants that it feels refreshing!! There are cute little props too, and a photo zone where kids can get their perfect shots~~~~ ^^

Baby chairs and a separate dog entrance

As a proper Cheonan brunch café should, Geurimseu Cafe has plenty of baby chairs!! And even better!!! It's a dog-friendly café, and they sell treats for pups too.

There's a separate entrance for dogs, so people without dogs won't bump into them. Good idea!! ^^

The two-level layout makes good use of the high ceilings! The sun outside was pretty harsh, so I skipped the outdoor seats and took a spot surrounded by green plants. It was really crowded, and I could feel how popular this place is among Cheonan brunch cafés.. It seemed even busier than my last visit ^^

I ordered pizza at Geurimseu Cafe

Just a coffee? Impossible here. Haha;;;;; I came to a brunch spot, so I have to eat something good ^^ I've had way too much pasta lately and I'm sick of it..... so pizza!! Because Geurimseu Cafe is a pizza place ^^^^

I'd ordered a gorgonzola pizza and an iced Americano, but then,,,

Picking a pumpkin campagne at the bakery case

Seeing the showcase and the bread trays, I just couldn't resist!!!!!!!!!!!

Every bread I've tried at Geurimseu has been a success, so I agonized over what to pick!!

^^ I chose the sweet pumpkin campagne (country-style sourdough)!!! Campagne is a healthy bread to begin with, and with pumpkin and cheese on top, the rich flavor was obviously going to be upgraded, so, pick!!!!!!!!!!!!

My little one loves the white roll, haha, so I'll have to bring them next time ^^

There's also a freebie you can get by joining the review event, and they have vegan dog cookies ^^

There were also salt bread rusks and chewy cookies, easy to grab as gifts, and my eyes kept wandering~~~~~ After browsing happily, I came back and the pager buzzed at just the right time ^^^^ They put the pumpkin campagne on the tray together with the rest, which made me feel extra well treated ^^

How is the gorgonzola pizza at Geurimseu Cafe?

The gorgonzola pizza here has dough that isn't too thin, and the edge isn't flat and shabby, haha. It's a classy gorgonzola, really~~~~ *^^*

Honey tastes better drizzled on than used for dipping, haha, so I poured on as much as I wanted ^^^^^

The pumpkin campagne I finished in no time

And the pumpkin campagne that I devoured in a flash ^^^^ Did I always like pumpkin this much,,,

I cut it into bite-size pieces with a fork and knife. Haaa.. that cross-section ㅠㅠ I love it. The campagne itself has nuts you can crunch into, which made me so happy. Nuttiness itself!! With the pumpkin and cheese, it was an absolutely delicious campagne~~!!!

Next time with my kid

Next time I'll bring my little one and get them the white roll and the gorgonzola pizza ^^ Great views, great atmosphere, and above all the bread and pizza are sooo good, this Cheonan brunch café, Geurimseu Cafe ^^ I'm going again ♡
