I'd been hunting for a wine place in Euljiro with a good vibe, and I finally made it to Pyu Euljiro, which I'd wanted to try for ages. The food and the wine were both great, and the atmosphere was lovely 🫶🏻 If you're looking for a good restaurant in Euljiro 3-ga, please read to the end!!

Where is Pyu Euljiro and how do you get there?

Pyu Euljiro is at 27 Mareunnae-ro, 1st floor, Jung-gu, Seoul. It's in the building with Cranky Coffee, so it was easy to find.

Just walk into the Tower 107 building and you'll see Pyu Euljiro right away!! It's close to Euljiro 3-ga Station, so it's easy to reach and perfect for an after-work date in Euljiro.

What's the atmosphere at Pyu Euljiro like?

The vibe was really good the moment I walked in. The plant decor is gorgeous, and it's calm rather than noisy, so it's a great place for conversation!! I went on a Monday evening, so it was especially empty. I guess everyone was too tired and left work on the dot to go home.

Among Euljiro 3-ga restaurants, Pyu Euljiro is known for its atmosphere, and it's honestly a perfect fit for a blind date or an anniversary. It's also wedding season, so it'd be great for a get-together to hand out wedding invitations, don't you think?

🥂 Non-alcoholic bergamore & Sedici brut spumante

The non-alcoholic bergamore had a subtle strawberry aroma from the very first sip. Sweet but not overdone, and really good haha. It lets people who don't drink fully enjoy the Euljiro wine mood, so I recommend it!!

I also ordered the Sedici brut spumante. It isn't very strong, so it was perfect with the food. I think it's an easy choice even for someone trying wine in Euljiro for the first time!!

🐙 Charcoal-grilled octopus with romesco: cut it as soon as it arrives

A staff member at Pyu Euljiro told us the octopus gets tough as it cools, so we should cut it up first. I love this kind of thoughtful explanation haha.

I cut it right away as instructed, and the octopus was really chewy in the best way. And the romesco sauce was so good. Dip the charcoal-flavored octopus generously in the sauce and you just keep wanting more wine haha. The sauce is seriously amazing..

🍝 Mackerel pasta: generous portion, great with arugula

The mackerel pasta at Pyu Euljiro was delicious too. First of all, the portion was big, which made me happy lol, and the mackerel was in big pieces. Eaten together with the arugula, it was so good.

The bitterness of the arugula goes so well with the mackerel that it never felt heavy and I enjoyed it to the last bite. If you're looking for pasta in Euljiro, I hope you try it. It looks pretty and tastes great.

🍆 Crispy eggplant: the highlight of this visit

The crispy eggplant was the highlight of this visit to Pyu Euljiro.. Honestly it was just a side, so I didn't expect much, but it was unexpectedly, insanely good, I tell you.

I knew why it's called crispy the second I took a bite. The batter crackled with every chew. Eggplant being this good is cheating!! The sauce on top is amazing too, so you end up cleaning the plate. If you go to Pyu Euljiro, please order this no matter what..
