If you've been having fun around Suwon Station and got worn out by the weekend parking war, you need to pay attention!🔥 The department store closes early, so its café is awkward to use, and heading out nearby means nowhere to park around Suwon Station...!💦 But just 10 minutes from Suwon Station by car, there's a flashy, hip, huge bakery café with a vibe like you've landed in Las Vegas, USA! Here's my review of Orange Bagel in Suwon!🍊✨

A big café with easy parking near Suwon Station: where is Orange Bagel?

Orange Bagel is a large bakery café on Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, about 10 minutes by car from Suwon Station, with a very roomy ground-level parking lot in front. If you've been out around Suwon Station and are looking for a big café nearby, come to Orange Bagel right now!

Honestly, driving around Suwon Station on weekends is scary because of the parking war, right! 🚗 But go just a little way out to Orange Bagel and there's a huge ground-level lot with plenty of space, so zero stress!

I went in the evening, and from the brightly glowing signboard on the exterior to the whole building, it felt like standing in the middle of Las Vegas, so my mood shot up right from the entrance!✨

Orange Bagel's 1st floor: Halloween-style orange interior and goods zone

The 1st floor of Orange Bagel is decorated in bright orange, and there's a separate, spacious goods zone to the right of the entrance. The moment you step inside, the zesty orange interior grabs your eyes!🍊

The cute bagel decor objects hanging on the walls here and there are adorable too, so they're really fun to photograph! 📸

The orange concept is zesty to begin with, but maybe because it's fall, it was decorated in an even deeper orange, giving off a full American Halloween party vibe!🎃

And the surprise: before you order bread and coffee, there's a very large goods zone on the right side of the entrance, and I browsed it like I was in a trance!👀

From pretty postcards to cute stamps, and even cheering goods for the Suwon sports team, it was great fun to freely stamp a sketchbook and write cheer messages!✍️

Orange Bagel's coffee menu: a signature line made with oranges

Orange Bagel runs the orange concept into the coffee too: the items written in orange lettering under the signature section of the menu board are the signature lineup. According to the original subheading, the latte is made with milk steeped with orange peel, and the Americano with freshly squeezed orange juice.

I wondered why the shop is called Orange Bagel, and it turns out not just the bagels but even the coffee has a zesty orange concept!☕️

The orange lettering under the signature menu on the board is the signature lineup, and even the letter color keeps the orange detail. Nice touch!💛

Warm your bagel in the 1st-floor oven, then head upstairs

On the right of the coffee ordering spot on the 1st floor, there's an oven where you can warm freshly baked bagels to your liking!🥐 Go up the stairs to the 2nd floor and there are way more table seats than you'd imagine, so I recommend warming your bagel right before you head up!💡

Are there bagels left in the evening at Orange Bagel?

When I went to Orange Bagel in the evening, the popular bagels were sold out and less than 20% of the display shelf was left. It opens at 7:30 a.m., so to choose from many kinds of bagels, an early-morning open run is a must.

Maybe because I came in the evening, the super-popular, delicious bagels were all gone and the shelf was less than 20% full!😭 Seeing the empty shelf was my first despair... The ones that hit my taste are naturally the most popular with everyone else, so they were already nearly extinct!

It opens early at 7:30 a.m., so I realized an open run is a must if you want to sweep up a wide variety of bagels!🏃‍♀️ Still, the remaining bagels were loaded with hefty toppings and far bigger than a fist, so they passed on looks alone!

After wandering around and thinking it over carefully, I dramatically managed to grab the last chestnut bagel left in the fridge! 🌰

How did the Orange Latte and Orangecano taste?

I ordered the Orangecano and Orange Latte as Orange Bagel's signature coffees: the Orange Latte had a subtle orange aroma like milk tea, and the Orangecano had a real orange taste with bits you could chew. As for what to order, no questions asked, go for the signature line!💛

The Orange Latte I ordered blended a subtle, milk-tea-like zesty orange scent and felt classy, and I assumed the Orangecano was just store-bought juice mixed in, but when I looked at the bottom there were real orange pieces popping as I chewed! Totally zesty! 🍊

Orange Bagel's 2nd-floor seating: a different retro zone at every seat

The 2nd floor of Orange Bagel is a hip, vintage retro zone different from the 1st floor, with different lighting and chairs at each seat. A retro-zone feel different from downstairs spreads across the entire 2nd floor!👀

The lighting differs at every seat, and everything from plush sofas to chairs full of personality is so varied that even the seat right next to you feels like another café!🛋️

The restrooms are also on the 2nd floor, tidy and separated for men and women, so use them freely! Even the entrance is hip and retro! 🚽
