It was a weekday and I had a day off to myself, so I spent it visiting places around Suwon where I could relax alone! Orange Bagel is a big café in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, with an American-style exterior and interior that really stand out. Its bakery is famous, and I heard it recently opened a branch in the Walkerhill Hotel too. Hearing that a place I'd visited as a food-lover made it into a hotel made me so happy!

Orange Bagel in Suwon: what kind of place is it?
Orange Bagel is a bagel café in Suwon, said to have opened in the Walkerhill Hotel as well, with a strongly American feel and a huge range of bagels lined up. The packaging is so neat that it's great for gifts! I'd heard the Deep Choco Bagel, similar to the trendy chocolate baguette, was good, so I rushed to try it, and I liked it so much I bought a box for my parents too. A true bagel gem!
What are Orange Bagel's signature items like?

Looks: neat packaging that's great for gifts
As a bagel specialist, Orange Bagel has lots of varieties and none of them disappoints. What satisfied me most was how neatly the café packs everything! If you give it as a gift, the recipient can thank you once for the prettily packed look, and again for the taste of the bagels. It's a great-looking gift!
Taste: chewy bagels and the Deep Choco Bagel
The chewy texture of the bagels left an impression! The Deep Choco Bagel in particular, similar to the chocolate baguette that's trendy these days, pairs just the right chocolate sweetness with a chewy, plain bagel, so good! After one bite I immediately had to get a gift pack for my parents. A real gem!
Recommended pairing: coffee and bagel
Like coffee and doughnuts, I recommend coffee and a bagel. Plain bagels are good, but Orange Bagel has plenty of special varieties, so you can try different ones to suit your taste!
Orange Bagel location, hours and parking
The main Orange Bagel store is on Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, open daily 07:30–21:00. From outside it has a strongly American look, and the inside is prettily decorated too, a large bagel specialty shop. There are lots of seats, and quite a few with power outlets, so thanks to the wide seating it's a good Suwon spot for visiting with several people.
Since Orange Bagel is a standalone building, there's a large parking lot in front, so it's easy to visit. Whether it's coworkers at lunchtime or a family get-together on the weekend, parking is easy!
What's inside Orange Bagel?

Orange Bagel in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, is a bagel specialty shop that gives off a strong American vibe from the outside. The inside is huge too, and even at weekday lunchtime customers kept coming in nonstop!

It's decorated with cute little props,

and it's a standalone building running from the 1st to the 3rd floor!

There are wide tables here and there, so it's also good for group gatherings!

There are terrace-style seats too, and plenty of seats suitable for working on a laptop! It was also nice for spending time alone.

What bagels does Orange Bagel have?
When you step in through the 1st-floor entrance of Orange Bagel, you'll find a really wide variety of bagels!

These are the bagels of Orange Bagel, which is said to have recently opened in the Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul and is rumored to be delicious.

There are bagels loaded with unusual ingredients, a topping explosion. Call them "fat bagels" (ttung bagel) and you'll get the idea! The fanciest-looking of them is the scallion cream cheese bagel! Packed with toppings, it's the ultimate fat bagel! On the other hand, there's also a variety of plainer, back-to-basics bagels.

They also sell an angbutter (red bean and butter) bagel and the recently trendy butter rice cake!

Since it's a bagel specialty shop, there are various cheese spreads to put on your bagel too! Sandwiches and salads are available as well! You can also peek into the kitchen where the bagels are made, behind the 1st-floor counter!
Orange Bagel Deep Choco Bagel: taste and price

Here's what I ordered and packed to go that day.
- Deep Choco Bagel ₩6,300
- Iced americano ₩5,500
- Olive tomato ₩4,900
- Ssal Cracio (rice cracio) ₩6,300
- Bacon scallion bagel ₩8,500

Honestly, the real reason I came to Orange Bagel today was that I'd heard this Deep Choco Bagel was delicious!

The Deep Choco Bagel feels like a bagel version of the trendy chocolate baguette, and it's clearly a hot item the shop is really pushing!

The chocolate filling that gently oozes out blends well with the bagel's dense, chewy texture and gives you a rich, luxurious sweetness!

And here's a tip: warm it briefly in the oven and you can taste the moist chocolate even better!

How does Orange Bagel do gift packaging?
If you take away 4 or more bagels, Orange Bagel puts them in a gift packaging box at no extra charge. I enjoyed the coffee and bagel so much that I decided to bring a gift to my parents when I see them tomorrow! I chose 4 delicious-looking bagels, and the neat packing is a big plus!

Each bagel is nicely placed in a container so it won't get crushed, and a large gift box comes with it. Order 4 or more to go and the box comes at no extra charge! It's a Suwon spot I can recommend for taking bagels home or buying them as a gift.
Final verdict from a food lover
Orange Bagel was a Suwon bagel café with a delicious, sweet Deep Choco Bagel! A bagel that could lead the trend alongside the latest trendy chocolate baguette!

The Deep Choco Bagel is a treat for its sweet chocolate filling, and the tip is that it tastes even better lightly baked in the oven! The shop has an oven, and if you take it home you can also pop it in the air fryer for a moment!!
