Solo drive, Yergacheffe hand-drip at Namyangju café Waltz & Dr. Mahn
Waltz and Dr. Mahn is a large European-style café on the Bukhan River in Joan-myeon, Namyangju, Gyeonggi. On the first day of a three-day break, the writer drove out alone as a new driver and arrived at 3pm on a weekday, parked right away in one of the café's two dedicated lots, and took a window seat with the picture window open for an Ethiopia Yergacheffe hand-drip at 16,000 won and blueberry cheesecake at 9,000 won. Prices at Waltz and Dr. Mahn run high, but the coffee's flavor and the Bukhan River view made them easy to accept.
