Seongsu ice cream café with parking: choco & peanut butter, Mellows

Today I'm introducing a soft serve ice cream hot spot in trendy Seongsu: Mellows!

What kind of place is Mellows in Seongsu?

Mellows is a soft serve specialist in Seongsu. I heard it's a place where you can get soft serve with all sorts of toppings at a reasonable price. I finally went out to Seongsu on a weekend after a long time, and it was so hot that my feet took me straight toward an ice cream shop... haha. So we hurried over!

How to get to Mellows from Ttukseom Station, and parking

Mellows is about 3 minutes from Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station, so it's very easy to reach. If you're driving, you can't park in front of the shop, so use a nearby public lot.

We used the private lot near the Seongsu Cultural Center Art Hall. It's free for the first 30 minutes, then ₩1,000 per additional 30 minutes, so we had plenty of time! After parking, it was about a 3-minute walk to Mellows.

Mellows exterior and seating atmosphere

The red-brick exterior of Mellows really stands out, haha. It's full of that Seongsu vibe >.< There are outdoor tables too, so sitting outside with ice cream in the afternoon or evening would be lovely. We went in the middle of the day, so we couldn't enjoy the terrace mood, sob, haha.

But don't worry, there are plenty of comfy tables inside Mellows too! The air conditioning was blasting nice and cold, haha.

Mellows soft serve menu and prices

Soft serve at Mellows is ₩3,500–4,000 for basic and ₩4,500 for fruit. Milk is the cheapest, and the fruit options cost a little more.

Another thing that left an impression: there was a poster for the Fence Fund (Ulttari Fund) on one side of Mellows. It promotes a fund meant to be a ray of light for people in need in Seongsu-dong.

How do the choco and peanut butter soft serve taste?

At Mellows, I ordered the choco soft serve and my boyfriend ordered the peanut butter soft serve! Both are ₩4,000.

The plump swirl of soft serve is just so cute. On a hot day like this, an ice cream dessert is perfect for a date T-T

Mellows soft serve has a generous layer of cereal and granola at the very bottom, soft serve on top of that, and then choco or peanut butter sauce drizzled over the top, just short of overflowing, haha. The choco sauce was already a pass for richness, and it looked delicious,,, hehe

There was also a chocolate cookie stuck in the top, so I smeared it with ice cream and ate it first. It was super crisp and went so well with the ice cream.

The granola cereal at the bottom is a treat

And there was a ton of granola cereal at the very bottom, which was a treat too >.< I scooped it through the leftover melted ice cream, and it felt a bit like eating yogurt, a perfect way to finish, haha.

Is Mellows good for a Seongsu date dessert?

Mellows is a great ice cream spot in Seongsu! It's very close to Ttukseom Station and the prices are kind, so if you're on a Seongsu date, blow away the heat with Mellows ice cream~!!!
