Cleansing balm for summer combination skin: HEEDA Jirisan

How did it feel on combination-oily dehydrated skin?

As summer arrived, I became more conscious of sebum, blackheads, and pores, so I tried this while looking for a cleansing product. I usually used cleansing milk rather than oil cleansers because I dislike a sticky feeling, and cleansing balms were unfamiliar to me.

When I first opened it, it had a firm solid texture. Once applied to my skin, it melted with body heat into an oil-like texture, and I felt that it removed both color cosmetics and base makeup neatly. Even after cleansing, it tended to leave a moist, hydrated feeling rather than dryness.

How did I use the cleansing balm?

I scooped out an appropriate amount with the spatula and applied it to a dry face, then massaged it for about 30 seconds. Afterwards, I added water to emulsify it and rinsed several times.

On evenings after work when washing my face felt like a chore, I found it convenient that I could use it without double cleansing. I wasn't able to take photos of the actual process, though.

What are the volume and usage period?

The volume is 100ml. The stated shelf life is 30 months from the manufacturing date, and it recommends using it within 12 months after opening.

Where can it be used?

It says it can be used not only on the face but also on areas where breakouts are a concern, such as the back or chest. I liked the feel enough while using it as a summer cleanser that I would consider repurchasing it after finishing a jar.
