I was looking for a clean, nice place to eat sushi near Sejong City Hall, and I ended up at Sushi Resto Sejong Sodam Main Branch! They have a reasonably priced lunch sushi set and all kinds of other Japanese dishes, so it works for lunch and also as a spot for a dinner get-together. The place feels clean and cozy, so I think it suits dates and family meals too.

Sushi Resto Sejong Sodam Main Branch is at 93 Sodam-ro, Unit 212, I-Com Star City, Sejong, South Korea, on the 2nd floor of the Hyundai Motor building in Sodam-dong. It's open daily 11:30–21:00, with a break time of 14:30–17:00 and last order at 20:30.

- Parking: underground parking in the building
You can use the underground parking in the building, so it's convenient if you come by car. It's close to Sejong City Hall, so it'd be a good option when you're hunting for a lunch spot around there.
Sushi Resto atmosphere and seating
Right when you walk in there are bar-style seats (datchi), and there are private rooms further inside. Some people were eating solo, and there were couples on dates too.

The interior is decorated in warm wood tones. It's bright and clean but also cozy, so it was comfortable to sit down and eat.

With the private rooms, it's also just right for company dinners or group gatherings.
What's on the menu at Sushi Resto?
Besides sushi, the menu has futomaki (thick sushi rolls), rolls, sashimi, noodle dishes, fried dishes and more Japanese food. At lunch you can have the reasonably priced lunch sushi, and in the evening it's nice to add sashimi or a few à la carte dishes.

I also liked that you can choose anything from sushi sets to single dishes, depending on your taste.
What comes in the ₩13,000 lunch sushi at Sushi Resto
The lunch sushi is ₩13,000 and comes with 10 pieces of sushi topped with a variety of fish. The set also comes with a salad and mini udon, so it made a hearty lunch.

The sushi came in several kinds: raw salmon, seared salmon, garlic shrimp, raw shrimp, scallop, egg, fried tofu pouch (yubu), tuna, and fresh fish. You get to try lots of different sushi on one plate, so it suits anyone who wants a bit of everything.
How did the Sushi Resto lunch sushi taste?
The fish in the lunch sushi was glossy and looked appetizing. The well-aged fish was soft yet chewy, and the savory umami built the more I chewed, so I really enjoyed it.

Raw and seared salmon sushi and shrimp sushi
The salmon sushi came in two kinds, raw and seared. The salmon's rich, nutty flavor with onion and sauce felt nicely balanced. The shrimp sushi had a lovely springy bite too, and since you can alternate between the different kinds, I didn't get tired of it until the last piece.
A side dish with the sushi: karaage (Japanese fried chicken)
If you want to add something else to your sushi, the karaage at Sushi Resto is worth a look. Karaage is Japanese-style fried chicken, a good side when you want something different from sushi.

Adding something fried to a sushi-focused meal makes the table a bit more varied. That said, I didn't note down the karaage's price or its exact taste, so I'd suggest checking the menu for the portion and price before ordering.
Can you swap the lunch set's mini udon for cold soba?
In the Sushi Resto lunch set, you can change the mini udon to soba. It's still way too hot out, so I ordered the cold soba, and it went so well with the sushi.
