Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch on a weekday lunch
Let me introduce Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch, a great restaurant in Boram-dong that I visited for weekday lunch! 🍝✨

Actually, I had visited Olivus Compagno's Eojin Branch before. I remember enjoying both the steak and red shrimp pane pasta so much then, so this time I went to the Boram Branch, haha.

I was curious about dishes other than the ones I had already tried, so this time I ordered flat iron steak cream risotto, sweet pumpkin gnocchi made with new-season Korean potatoes, cuttlefish tomato pasta, and lemonade!

I visited at weekday lunch, and I loved the clean yet warm feel of the dining room as soon as I walked in 🤍 There are lunch set menus too, and with the lovely atmosphere, I think it would be especially perfect for anyone looking for a Sejong date spot.

It has an Excellent hygiene rating too, so it felt even more trustworthy!

As soon as the food came out, it looked so pretty that I worked hard taking photos first 📸✨

Flat iron steak cream risotto
First up, the flat iron steak cream risotto had big pieces of flat iron steak on top of rich, nutty cream risotto. The cream on its own might have felt a little plain, but it was much more satisfying and worked so well with the steak! The meat was tender, and the combination with the cream sauce was delicious 🥩

The sweet pumpkin gnocchi I was most excited for
And what I was looking forward to most that day was the sweet pumpkin gnocchi 🎃💛 I absolutely love sweet pumpkin cream gnocchi, haha. So the moment I saw it on the menu, I said we had to order it—and, as expected, it was so delicious 🥹 The gnocchi was soft and chewy in the sweet, nutty pumpkin cream sauce, totally my kind of thing…💕 The pumpkin's natural sweetness was not overpowering at all and blended so nicely with the cream that I kept reaching for more.

Maybe it tasted even better because it is a dish I already love, but the sweet pumpkin gnocchi was the most memorable thing I ate that day, haha. If you like cream or sweet pumpkin, you really have to try it at least once!

Cuttlefish tomato pasta that paired well with the creamy dishes
Since we had two creamy dishes, ordering the cuttlefish tomato pasta was such a good choice too 🌶️🍝 It had plump cuttlefish in a lightly spicy tomato sauce, and eating it between bites of the cream risotto and sweet pumpkin gnocchi cut through the richness perfectly.

The seafood texture was great, and the tomato sauce had a gentle kick that kept me coming back for more! If you are looking for great pasta in Boram-dong, I recommend ordering one creamy dish and one tomato pasta to share ❤️🔥

And because lemonade is a must with pasta, we ordered that too 🍋 It was tangy and refreshing, so taking little sips after the creamy dishes felt so clean and nice, haha. Above all, the food was great, but the beautiful atmosphere is why I want to recommend it as a Sejong date spot 🫶🏻
It is easy to continue with a walk nearby after eating around Sejong City Hall, so I think it makes a nice route for anyone looking for places to visit in Sejong for a date. Pasta somewhere with a great atmosphere followed by a stroll is just perfect for a date course, right? Haha 🌿
