How did I buy the HEEDA Charcoal Cleansing Balm?

I found out about it through a friend’s recommendation and checked it out on Naver Store. At the time of the original post, it was ₩19,800, and I was told that it could be purchased for ₩18,800 with a coupon. Free shipping was mentioned too.

What were the texture and scent like?

The box listed the ingredients, directions, and precautions, so I thought it would be best to check those first if your skin is on the sensitive side. The product came with a spatula, and after removing the clear seal, I found a finely textured black balm.

It said it contains charcoal along with camellia oil, jojoba seed oil, rice bran extract, and green tea water. I found the scent natural.

How did it remove makeup?

I used about 1/3 for light makeup and around 1/2 for heavier makeup. Once I applied it to my face and rubbed with my fingers, it melted with my body heat, and I rubbed a little more carefully around my nose, an area I usually worry about.

When I used it, the balm turned oil-like and then milky. Since it was black, I worried that residue might remain, but after washing with lukewarm water, I could not see anything left behind.

Did my skin feel tight after cleansing?

Normally, I apply toner right after cleansing and then dry my hair, but on the day I used this product, my skin felt less dry even when I dried my hair without applying toner immediately. Still, the experience may differ depending on skin condition and the environment.

Would I consider buying it again?

The original post said the discount rate was higher when buying two. Since I am sensitive to cleansing products, I tried just one first and planned to consider purchasing more after finishing it.
