Gwangalli pizzeria, ricotta pepperoni & oil-like bisque: Extra Mile

I went to Gwangalli with my boyfriend after a long while~~ He said he was craving Western food, so we headed to Extra Mile in Gwangalli! I'd been before, and it was so good that I went back, so let me tell you about this revisit~

What are the exterior and the wait like at Extra Mile in Gwangalli?

Extra Mile is a Western restaurant in a prettily renovated house in a Gwangalli alley. The white tone looked clean and had a lovely atmosphere~~

In front of the entrance there's a machine where you register if there's a wait, and you can also check on Catch Table, so look it up before you come~ Luckily there was no wait when I visited~ haha

Inside Extra Mile: is it good for a date?

The inside of Extra Mile is decorated in wood tones with soft orange lighting, so it felt warm and cozy haha It would be perfect for a date or a blind date~

When we went in and sat down, the cutlery and menu were neatly set at each seat~

Extra Mile menu and ordering the Classic Combo

The Extra Mile menu has pizza, pasta and side dishes, plus set menus~ The set composition and prices were good, so we went for one and lots of other tables ordered sets too~ And on the back of the menu there's even an English menu for foreign guests~ haha The owner's thoughtfulness really shows!

We ordered the Classic Combo (2-person set) of 1 pizza + 1 pasta~ Another good thing is that you can do half-and-half pizzas! We ordered a half pepperoni, half potato pizza and the bisque cream pasta.

They were also running a review event, so keep that in mind~

Gwangandaegyo Bridge table paper to color with colored pencils

What stood out at Extra Mile is that the paper on the table is a drawing, and every table has colored pencils~ There were very Busan-style pictures of surfing and the Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and coloring while waiting for the food made the time fly~

First they brought the drink we ordered and pickles~ They thoughtfully gave us two cups for the drink! And a lemon in it too~ hehe

After a little more waiting, our food arrived! The pizza and pasta came out at the same time~ Doesn't it look so tempting!?

How does Extra Mile's half pepperoni, half potato pizza taste?

The first thing we ate at Extra Mile was the half-and-half pizza! The dough itself was really plump, and it was so good that I finished it all haha

Potato pizza with fried potato strings and a truffle aroma

Extra Mile's potato pizza has thinly sliced potatoes and thinly shredded potatoes together on the dough! The staff recommended eating it by hand!? Following the tip, we ate the potato pizza with our hands haha The fried potato strings on top were crispy with a great bite, and the subtle truffle aroma was so delicious~

Pepperoni pizza topped with ricotta cheese

Extra Mile's pepperoni pizza! This was so good too!!! It was piled with pepperoni but not salty at all, the tomato sauce had a subtle sweetness, and the ricotta on top of the pepperoni and cheese added a soft richness. The combination went so well together~~ Both the pepperoni and potato pizzas are so good that I recommend them!!

Extra Mile's bisque cream pasta: cream or oil?

Extra Mile's bisque cream pasta is made with shrimp, cheese and gamtae (a fine seaweed)! It says cream, so I expected a cream sauce, but it actually felt a bit more like an oil pasta!

They recommended putting the gamtae on top rather than mixing it in! The subtle seaweed and sea aroma rising up is such a charming flavor!? The shrimp on top were totally plump too~~

Extra Mile in Gwangalli had lots of pasta made with unusual ingredients you won't find elsewhere, and it tasted great! If you're traveling to Gwangalli, or looking for a Gwangalli date spot or blind-date spot, I recommend Extra Mile!
