Dog-friendly Korean BBQ in Jamsil with a dog stroller: Sutbul Seonghwa
In short
Sutbul Seonghwa (숯불성화) is a hanwoo (Korean beef) charcoal BBQ restaurant on Songnidan-gil near Seokchon Station in Songpa, Seoul, where dogs are allowed if they come in a pet bag or dog stroller. The writer visited Sutbul Seonghwa on a weekday with a dog stroller, left the car with the valet, ate the Seonghwa Platter (99,900 won), then added 2 servings of Seonghwa Sirloin and a hanwoo doenjang stew (soybean paste stew). For Jamsil and Seokchon visitors who want proper Korean beef with their dog, Sutbul Seonghwa is an easy pick.

Today I'm introducing a dog-friendly hanwoo (Korean beef) restaurant in Jamsil~

Where is Sutbul Seonghwa in Jamsil, and what are the hours and parking?
The dog-friendly restaurant I visited is Sutbul Seonghwa (숯불성화) in Jamsil, at 17 Songpa-daero 48-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, 1st floor, 537m from Seokchon Station Exit 1. It's open Mon–Fri 11:00–01:00 (break time 15:00–17:00, last order 00:00) and Sat–Sun 11:00–01:00 (last order 00:00).
Valet parking is available at Sutbul Seonghwa, and it costs ₩3,000.

Once you drive into the building, a valet attendant comes out to help, so I handed over the car and went in pushing the dog stroller.

There was a Catch Table waiting machine before the entrance, but it was a weekday, so luckily there was no wait.

Where do you sit at Sutbul Seonghwa with a dog stroller?
The staff guided us to a table further inside so the stroller wouldn't block the walkway. They greeted us kindly when we walked in, and they were considerate of us coming with a dog in a stroller.
Sutbul Seonghwa, a dog-friendly spot near Seokchon Lake, lets you order from a tablet at each table, and we ordered the Seonghwa Platter.

For their review event, they give yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) per person who leaves a review, so I'm jealous of anyone who goes in a big group.

After ordering, the basic side dishes come out, served neatly on fancy tableware, so it felt like being treated to a proper meal.

How was the Seonghwa Platter (₩99,900) at Sutbul Seonghwa?
The Seonghwa Platter (성화모둠), the hanwoo set menu at Sutbul Seonghwa, costs ₩99,900 and came with richly marbled beef. True to the name "Sutbul" (charcoal fire), they set up really good charcoal first, and then

the platter, packed with marbling, came right out.

At Sutbul Seonghwa, a Jamsil hanwoo favorite, the first beef onto the grill is

grilled by the staff themselves and placed on your individual plate,

and when you try it on the shiitake mushroom wasabi sauce, the beef just melts in your mouth.

2 extra servings of Seonghwa Sirloin (130g, ₩38,000)
The Seonghwa Sirloin (성화등심) at Sutbul Seonghwa is ₩38,000 for 130g. It felt too early to stop, so we ordered 2 more servings of hanwoo sirloin,

and since Ungddak grilled it so well for me, I stuffed myself with hanwoo for the first time in a while.

What about the hanwoo doenjang stew, rice and dessert at Sutbul Seonghwa?
The hanwoo doenjang stew (soybean paste stew) at Sutbul Seonghwa is ₩8,000, and just like its name, the "8-Minute Hanwoo Doenjang Stew," it really arrived 8 minutes later. It had a lot of hanwoo trimmings in it.

The rice is Myeongpum Joseon Hyangmi (₩2,000). We ordered just one to share, and then ordered another one, which is our little secret.

When you finish your meal, Sutbul Seonghwa gives each person an Excellent ice cream, and when I ate it happily, the staff said they could bring more if I wanted, hahahahahahaha

When I paid, I saw that Sutbul Seonghwa has been selected as a Michelin restaurant! I'm so proud and happy to have discovered a place like this through a sponsorship and to introduce it to you.
Five reasons to recommend Sutbul Seonghwa in Jamsil
Here are my reasons for recommending Sutbul Seonghwa as a Jamsil-area favorite:

1️⃣ This Seokchon favorite is open until 1 a.m., and it serves lunch too.

2️⃣ It has private rooms for eating hanwoo in privacy, bookable through Naver before your visit. (The room minimum order is ₩300,000.)

3️⃣ There's a wide range of drinks and side dishes too, so it's great for pairing.

4️⃣ Pets are allowed if you bring a pet bag or dog stroller.

5️⃣ Besides the corkage-free event, you can download various coupons through Naver.
If you're looking for a dog-friendly restaurant in Jamsil, Seokchon or Songpa, I highly recommend Sutbul Seonghwa. Lotte Mall and Seokchon Lake are close by too, so how about a date course where you enjoy hanwoo and then go sightseeing?
