Jamsil Italian restaurant for two: vongole and black dough pizza
In short
Mano di Chef Jamsil Branch is a Blue Ribbon Italian restaurant on the B1 floor of Tower730, 182m from exit 7 of Jamsil Station in Songpa, Seoul. Visiting with a close friend, the writer ordered the vongole aglio e olio pasta for 27,900 won and the black dough steak pizza for 36,900 won: the pizza's steak tasted like tender galbi (marinated short rib), and the vongole came loaded with clams. Mano di Chef Jamsil is the place to remember when a dinner needs both good food and a good atmosphere.

I had plans with a close unnie (older female friend) today, so I headed to Jamsil. We went to Mano di Chef Jamsil Branch — it's a famous spot that's even received a Blue Ribbon, so I really wanted to go~ And sure enough, being a verified good restaurant, the pizza and pasta were genuinely delicious!!
Where is Mano di Chef Jamsil Branch, and what are its hours and parking?

Come out of Jamsil Station exit 7 and go straight, and you'll find Tower730. You can go down these stairs that connect underground, or go into the building and take the elevator~ There's a parking lot in the building, so you don't have to worry about parking!!
What do the exterior and interior of Mano di Chef Jamsil look like?

Apparently it received the Blue Ribbon in 2025 and 2026! The atmosphere from outside looks great too, right?!

There's a big chandelier, and the tables are spaced out generously, so it seems like a great place for anniversaries or a proposal! There were a lot of couples on dates that day too haha

There are also private table seats prepared, so it's perfect for coming with family or in a group!
Mano di Chef Jamsil menu and what the two of us ordered
They have all kinds of menu items ready — salads, pasta, gnocchi, risotto, pizza, steak, and more!

We ordered the vongole aglio e olio pasta for ₩27,900 and the steak pizza for ₩36,900! There were so many other delicious-looking items that we agonized for a while over what to order! I heard this place is a bisque pasta hotspot in Jamsil, so next time I'll have to try the red shrimp bisque linguine!

There's an event where you get 2 free corkage bottles on orders over ₩100,000, and a free pizza for anyone with a birthday that month, so be sure to take part!! The pizza here is so good that I'm actually planning to come back on my own birthday! (Can't miss out on a perk like that ><)
Black dough steak pizza that tastes like galbi

The pizza arrived first! It's made with squid-ink black dough topped with grilled steak, romaine, cherry tomatoes, and a generous amount of Grana Padano cheese! The steak pizza is soooo good!! First off, the size is pretty big! With two of us eating one whole pizza plus one pasta, we were completely stuffed~
And the steak was really tender and delicious! I could taste a slightly sweet seasoning — you know what it tasted like? Galbi (marinated short rib)!!! It felt like a pizza topped with delicious, tender galbi! It paired really well with the romaine, cherry tomatoes, and cheese underneath too, so the pizza felt like it was dancing in my mouth >< And the dough was so thin it was crispy and crumbly! Such a delicious dough~

When eating, fold it slightly so the romaine and steak don't fall off haha. I really want to recommend this dish!!
Vongole aglio e olio: why the pasta never feels heavy

I reallllly love vongole aglio e olio, and the vongole here is delicious~ This place knows what it's doing haha
The pasta noodles were cooked just right, so there was a nice chew to them, and there were plenty of Manila clams in it too! They said the flavor comes from garlic and anchovy — why can't I get this taste at home... is it because I don't put anchovy in?? ㅠㅠ It was such a fresh, delicious vongole flavor that you can't make at home!! The aglio e olio wasn't greasy at all~ You could really taste the clean, savory taste of the clams.

They even gave us a separate bowl for discarding the shells, so you can throw the clam shells in there haha. Little details like that make a place feel like a good restaurant~

Both the steak pizza and the vongole aglio e olio pasta were so delicious that I got curious about the other menu items too~ I think I'll think of this place again whenever I want a restaurant with a nice atmosphere.
