Why I picked Clermont Monde for back care in Cheongdam on a day off

I've been so stiff lately that I wanted some back care. I wasn't sure where to go on my day off, and ended up at Clermont Monde (끌레르몽드) in Cheongdam.

Clermont Monde is a converted house right near Cheongdam Station, and it seemed like lots of brides come here for care. I did my own wedding prep around here too, and all the wedding vendors I visited were in this neighborhood, so I think it's a perfect spot for brides to get care between appointments.

You can get all kinds of facial and body care here using various machines. You go in through this entrance and head up to the 2nd floor.

What the inside and the consultation were like

You change into indoor slippers at Clermont Monde, and the inside was really clean. I sat in the lobby for a quick consultation, and seeing customers keep coming in, it felt like the place has lots of regulars.

The therapists' certificates are on display, and you can see which treatments are offered inside, which I liked.

There's plenty of drinking water you can help yourself to without asking, and an InBody machine too, so I think it's handy for people who look after their bodies.

One thing I liked about Clermont Monde: the therapists are all Korean! Skill may have nothing to do with nationality, but during care I like that feeling of being easily understood when we talk. And above all, all the therapists here seemed truly professional.

How much does care at Clermont Monde cost?

The top programs at Clermont Monde are the collagen filler program at ₩200,000 and the Microneedle Therapy System at ₩180,000. The Microneedle Therapy System includes what's called MTS, and I've had it done elsewhere too; the results are pretty good.

At member prices, back, abdomen and lower body are ₩100,000 each, and full body is ₩280,000. The face care, as I understand it, includes contouring, and I'd guess doing face and body together is the bridal care.

Changing room, powder room and what to bring

The changing room at Clermont Monde was probably the biggest of any salon I've been to. It was really roomy, with a powder room right in front, but there are no hair dryers or hair rollers, so bring your own.

I had the actual care on the 2nd floor. At Clermont Monde, the 1st floor is the stairs up, the 2nd floor is the lobby, and the 3rd floor is the treatment area. I didn't realize from the 2nd floor, but there are several treatment rooms on the 3rd floor too, and a lot of therapists.

Body-type check, then half back and half lower body: how it went

I was originally going to get only back care, but the Clermont Monde therapist took one look at me and said she wanted to check my body type. She said she'd give care to suit it. My pelvis sticks out a bit, so she suggested adding lower-body care, and we decided to split it half and half between back and lower body.

The therapist who did my back was really slender, yet as you can see, my back turned bright red. She works her joints in so well, pressing right in!! Of course it hurt a bit because I was so knotted up, but she's basically great at finding the tight spots.

She also worked the neck area like this, and I feel like she released every single lymph node along the whole back of my body. Above all, she loosened me up so well that I was totally satisfied! I'd been so stiff lately and it really loosened up. The lower body went in really well too, and afterward I felt super refreshed.

Clermont Monde in Cheongdam gave me really good care. I'd totally recommend it to anyone looking for care around here.
