Why I looked for a moisturizing cleansing balm

I had been feeling dehydration in my skin, and recently, dense blackheads had appeared around my nose, so I looked for a cleanser that I could use with a moisturizing feel. This product was introduced as a cleansing balm made in Korea using domestic Jirisan charcoal.

What was included when I first opened it?

The container and the balm itself were black. A spatula was attached to the lid, so I could use it without scooping it out directly with my hands, and I thought it would also reduce the inconvenience of product getting under my nails.

How did I use the cleansing balm?

I scooped out the product with the spatula, applied it to my face, and rolled it for about 30 seconds. Then I added water to emulsify it. It was my first time using a cleansing balm, and the process of scooping out the texture, rolling it on, and emulsifying it felt unfamiliar but interesting.

How did my skin feel after cleansing, and how was makeup removal?

After using it, I felt that my makeup had been removed cleanly, and my face did not feel tight after washing. When I wore makeup and used only cleansing foam, eye makeup would usually remain, so I would use a separate lip-and-eye remover; with this product, I felt I might not need that separate step.

It is difficult to make a definite judgment about changes in my skin after just one first use, but it seemed worth considering for anyone looking for a cleanser with a moisturizing feel or wanting to simplify their makeup-cleansing steps.
