Why I went looking for a postpartum swelling tea
The writer, six months after giving birth, started drinking Preetea Hobaksu because of postpartum swelling. The hardest thing after the birth, she says, was drinking enough water.
It's already been six months since I gave birth 😁 The hardest thing for me afterward was drinking water 😭 They say you need to take in lots of fluids for postpartum swelling to go down, but drinking that much water is not as easy as it sounds T_T If I'd known right after the birth that swelling teas existed, I would have drunk them diligently and probably lost a bit more weight by now. I'm sad I found out a little late, but I'm going to start drinking it diligently from now on 🤗

What kind of tea is Preetea Hobaksu?
Preetea Hobaksu is a teabag tea made from 100% domestic old pumpkin. Old pumpkin is said to be rich in potassium, which helps flush out sodium, and pectin, which helps clear out waste.
Everyone has heard somewhere that pumpkin helps with swelling, right? 🎃 So I figured it would be great to drink it regularly 😚

Preetea Hobaksu contains no additives at all and no caffeine, plus it's zero sugar and zero calories, so it seemed perfect for drinking lightly without worry 😍

The expiry date was very generous, running until 2029 👍

What about microplastics from the teabag?
One bag of Preetea Hobaksu holds 20 teabags, and it reportedly uses PLA teabags made from natural materials. The product is said to have passed tests showing no microplastics, heavy metals or lead detected.
To be honest, after I read an article saying teabags release microplastics, I felt a bit uneasy about drinking tea from teabags for a while 🥲 With this much testing, I can drink it with peace of mind, right? 😉
Does Preetea Hobaksu steep well in cold water?
Preetea Hobaksu can be drunk hot or cold, so since it's summer I dropped a teabag into ice water to make iced pumpkin tea. It steeped faster than I expected, even in cold water.
Since it's summer, I'm going to have it nice and cold! First, I prepared a glass of ice water, and

plopped the teabag in ☺️ I wondered if it would steep properly in cold water 🤔 but

it steeped faster than I expected, even in cold water. Watching it, I could see the clear water turning yellow 👀
They say you can just leave the teabag sitting in cold water and after 3 minutes it's ready to drink, but I'm impatient, so I swirled it around with a stirrer 🤭 And the cool iced pumpkin tea is done ❣️

Does pumpkin tea taste fishy?
As a first-time pumpkin tea drinker, the writer found the iced Preetea Hobaksu nutty and tasty with no fishy taste. Because it tasted good, the water she found so hard to drink went down easily.
Honestly, this was my first time ever trying pumpkin tea! I took the first sip worried it might taste fishy or weird, but what? It was so nutty and delicious! Because it tasted good, the water I found so hard to drink went down easily 😆 I was sitting alone at the table gulping down the iced pumpkin tea, and my husband on the sofa asked if it was really that good, so you can imagine how nutty it is 🤣
Actually, I'm someone who absolutely loves spicy, salty, oily, stimulating food, haha. People like me who eat that way are doing naughty things to our bodies (?), so I think this is a tea we have to drink 🤣

Why I swapped sweet drinks for Preetea Hobaksu
The writer used to love sweet drinks like caramel macchiato and vanilla latte. After giving birth she decided to drink tea instead of coffee and sweet drinks to look after her health, and Preetea Hobaksu fit perfectly. It's also reportedly a popular product sold at Olive Young.
On top of that, I only used to drink sweet drinks like caramel macchiato and vanilla latte 😅 But after the birth I was worried about not losing weight, and I thought now that I've had a baby and gotten older, I should take better care of my health, so recently I decided to drink tea instead of coffee or sweet drinks. That's why Preetea Hobaksu felt just right for me 😇 I really, really recommend it as a swelling tea for pregnant women and new moms 🫶
