Kaimak café at Songdo outlet: extra bread & Mix Wunder Gato, Wunder
In short
Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is a coffee, ice cream and kaimak (Turkish clotted cream) café on B1 of Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo, known locally as Songhyuna, in Yeonsu, Incheon. After browsing Songdo IKEA, the writer and her husband ordered a Mix Wunder Gato, a hojicha & vanilla mix ice cream and a kaimak & bread set, then added more bread because there wasn't enough to finish the kaimak. Verdict: at Wunder Coffee Bar, plan on extra bread when you order the kaimak.

Wunder Coffee Bar, my must-stop at Songhyuna
Wunder Coffee Bar at the Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is my little sparrow's mill: every time I visit the outlet (Songhyuna), I simply can't walk past it. From coffee to ice cream to chewy, silky kaimak (Turkish-style clotted cream), nothing falls short, so it's been my regular spot for a long time. This time again, the dessert break was perfect and I left fully recharged with happiness.
I'd heard the new IKEA in Songdo had opened, so I went to look around, and since I was already nearby, there was no way I could skip Wunder Coffee Bar. I wandered happily through the interior accessories and furniture, and after all that walking my mouth was begging for something sweet. My husband and I were on the same wavelength, and without hesitation we headed to Wunder Coffee Bar at Songhyuna.

What's the vibe on a weekday during school vacation?
Because it was school vacation, the Songdo branch was bustling even on a weekday. The excitement of arriving a little tired from shopping! The roasted aroma of coffee beans drifting from afar and the warm atmosphere greeted us, which makes this place feel good whenever I visit. Even the waiting time was fun, thinking about the tasty desserts ahead.

Our couple's favorite combo: what did we order?
This time at Wunder Coffee Bar we ordered a Mix Wunder Gato, a hojicha & vanilla mix ice cream and a kaimak & bread set. Standing in front of the menu always brings a delicious dilemma, but this time we went straight to the combo we love most as a couple, no agonizing.
- Wunder Gato (Mix Gato)
- Hojicha & vanilla mix ice cream
- Kaimak & bread set (extra bread is a must!)

What does the Mix Wunder Gato taste like?
Wunder Gato is Wunder Coffee Bar's ice cream latte, and the Mix Gato is topped with a mix of vanilla and hojicha (roasted green tea) ice cream. You can't come to Wunder Coffee Bar and skip the Wunder Gato! And we especially love the Mix Gato.
Sweet, heavy ice cream sits on a rich, nutty coffee base, so with one sip bitterness and sweetness blend perfectly. The elegant sweetness lingers without hurting the espresso flavor, so it's a reliable favorite you can enjoy to the very last sip without getting tired of it.

How does the hojicha & vanilla mix ice cream taste?
Wunder Coffee Bar's hojicha & vanilla mix ice cream is the meeting of deeply toasty hojicha and clean, subtle vanilla! The texture is smooth, and the sweetness isn't overly sharp, so you keep reaching for another spoonful.
The bittersweet, nutty aroma of hojicha blends with the softness of vanilla into a more refined flavor, and after the first bite my husband and I locked eyes and gasped.

Why extra bread is a must with Wunder Coffee Bar's kaimak
The kaimak & bread set is thick kaimak cream with honey, spooned onto golden toasted bread, but the bread ran out fast, so we ended up ordering more. And now, today's highlight, the kaimak we'd been waiting for! Dense yet melting softly on the tongue, the cream with plenty of fragrant, rich honey on warm, golden-toasted bread… honestly, no more words needed, it's heavenly.
The rich milk flavor filling your mouth, the sweetness of honey and the bread, crisp outside and moist inside, make it addictive once you try it. The bread ran short so quickly that we added more and scraped up every last bit of kaimak. Please remember: with Wunder Coffee Bar's kaimak, extra bread isn't optional, it's a must.
