Seongsu café for a berry-bright latte and hot Ethiopian brew: T Coffee
In short
T Coffee (티 커피) is a quiet, tidy café in Seongsu, Seoul, at 159 Achasan-ro, Seongdong-gu, on basement level 1. After a meal, the writer ordered a café latte with finely steamed milk, berry-like acidity and a nutty sweetness, plus a hot Ethiopian brew that was slightly thin but still full of flavor. T Coffee is on the pricier side, but it suits a day when you want to focus on the coffee itself, away from Seongsu's crowds.

Seongsu has so many cafés with their own personality that I always agonize over which one to visit.

I was looking for a place with stylish interiors and good coffee, and T Coffee in Seongsu turned out to be uncomplicated and quiet, which made it a really nice spot for a date too. The overall look was clean and calm, and it was a lovely place to relax for a while over a cup of coffee.

T Coffee Seongsu: location and opening hours
T Coffee (TCOFFEE Seongsu) is at 159 Achasan-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on basement level 1. It is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.
Is it really a quiet café in Seongsu?
Even among Seongsu cafés, T Coffee was unusually quiet and calm. When you think of a Seongsu café, you probably picture a busy, lively crowd, but this space was so tidy that it gave me a little break from the hustle of everyday life.

It isn't a place that grabs your eye with flashy interiors or lots of decoration; it lets you focus on the time you spend drinking coffee. If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, this quiet Seongsu café is worth putting on your list.

I think it would be especially good for a short break before or after plans, or when you want to spend some time alone.
How do the café latte and Ethiopian brew taste at T Coffee?
This time I ordered two drinks at T Coffee: a café latte and an Ethiopian brew. I came after a meal and was too full for dessert, so I skipped it, but the two drinks were a nice pairing, since they let you enjoy coffee in two different ways.

Café latte: finely steamed milk and berry acidity
The latte came out first, and the milk was steamed so finely and softly that the texture was great.

It was glistening the moment it arrived, and overall the acidity and juicy berry notes came through nicely, with a nutty, sweet finish. A really good latte.

It was delicious to drink without any dessert. It looked like you can choose your beans for the americano, too.

Ethiopian brew: a little thin, but tea-like in flavor
The Ethiopian did feel a bit thin, but it was plenty for enjoying the flavor. If you usually like tea-like, refreshing flavors, you'll probably like this coffee.

I ordered it in a hot cup, which was good for concentrating on the taste of the beans themselves. Maybe because the atmosphere was so quiet, I could focus completely on the drink, and it was honestly healing~

Both drinks tasted clean overall, never too heavy, with no unpleasant dryness at all, so I enjoyed them a lot.

The little symbol sticker was cute too, haha. Putting two of them together made them even cuter. It's a cup sitting on top of a person shape!
T Coffee Seongsu: menu and prices

That said, prices at T Coffee are a bit high, as is typical for Seongsu, so I think I'd come on a special day or when I really want to spend satisfying time in a quiet space.

They have desserts too, and next time I'd like to try some :)
Who is T Coffee Seongsu right for?
Personally, the no-frills interior and sense of space at T Coffee, together with the good drinks, made the time I spent there satisfying.

Seongsu has cafés in every concept, but you don't need a brand-new interior or flashy dessert every time, right? Sometimes just slowly sipping a drink you like in a tidy space is enough to refresh you~~ In that sense, T Coffee suits people who prefer a quiet, clean atmosphere.

I'd recommend T Coffee to anyone looking for a quiet café in Seongsu. With a drink to your taste, you can enjoy a calm, peaceful moment.
