Seongsu LP café date with beer and listening room: Wanita

It has been a while since I found such an amazing spot in Seongsu, so I am writing this one up all excitedly haha.

A time to play LPs yourself in Seongsu

I love listening to music normally, and I heard there was a place in Seongsu where you can actually play LP records yourself, so I rushed over as soon as I had time haha.

The second I opened the door, gentle music was playing. From the lighting to the whole mood, it was such a vibe-filled place that I fell for it straight away haha.

This is Wanita Music Listening Room Seongsu (와니타음악감상실 성수). There were more than 10 LPs at every table, and the interior was styled so beautifully too haha.

It is seriously absolutely perfect for anyone looking for an LP café date spot in Seongsu haha.

Ticket admission and drink choices

The system was really reasonable too: admission was ₩16,500, and a drink was included in that price haha.

Amazingly, it was not just coffee—you could choose non-coffee drinks or even beer, which I loved haha.

So without even thinking twice, I chose an ice-cold Budweiser, and ordered brownie ice cream for dessert haha.

Even an LP beginner gets a kind guide

Honestly, I did not really know how to handle an LP properly, so I was a little flustered at first. But the owner was unbelievably kind and walked me through it step by step, so I was so grateful haha.

Just placing the LP on, lowering the needle, and watching the music begin somehow made my heart feel all warm and fuzzy. I was so happy haha.

Then I took one sip of the Budweiser as soon as it arrived, and the moment I started gulping it down, it felt like even my head had cooled off haha.

And why was the brownie ice cream we ordered together so delicious too? haha

Vanilla ice cream came on top of a sweet, chewy brownie, and mixing them together was an absolutely crazy-good combination haha.

It was so good that I kept being surprised and exclaiming over it the entire time haha.

A sip of beer, a bite of ice cream brownie, then music—I truly wanted for nothing in the world haha.

Choosing LPs and the request-song listening room

The LP selection here was incredibly varied, from current songs to oldies, so even just browsing was so much fun haha.

It was fun choosing unfamiliar music just by the feeling of an album cover, and the thrill when I discovered a masterpiece exactly to my taste was no joke haha.

There is also a separate listening room deeper inside, where you can hear music loudly through huge speakers, and this is truly the highlight haha.

You can request music from the owner too, so I requested a new song by The Black Skirts, which I have been loving most lately haha.

Then the owner played the whole track, so I could really take in the music with my entire body haha.

The speaker sound was so good that the resonance and emotion were on a completely different level from listening through phone earphones haha.

These days, I often do other things or use my phone while listening to music, so it is hard to focus completely on the music itself. Here, though, I could immerse myself in nothing but the music, and it made me feel so peaceful and happy haha.

The soft, beautiful lighting also made photos come out so well. It felt like I had entered another world where my eyes, ears, and mouth were all happy haha.

and there is a place in Seongsu where you can enjoy delicious beer and dessert too—I am almost grateful it exists haha.

The owner was so kind, and the space itself has such a powerful charm that I am definitely planning to come back again very soon haha.
