Suwon bagel café with summer milk patbingsu 15,000 won: Orange Bagel
In short
Orange Bagel is a large New York Brooklyn-style bagel café on Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon. On the Liberation Day holiday the writer brought their parents and shared the scallion bagel (8,500 won), the laugen butter and corn bagels (6,900 won each), the summer-only milk patbingsu (15,000 won) and the signature Orange Bianco (8,500 won). With a wide parking lot and roomy second-floor seating, Orange Bagel suits both a family outing and a weekend café date.

Close to Exit 2 of Gosaek Station on the Suin-Bundang Line, Orange Bagel — famous as a large café in Suwon — has lots of parking space right in front of the building, so it's really convenient to drive there.
I found Orange Bagel while looking for a good-vibe large café in Suwon. It's so well known as a bagel spot that I was curious, and once I got there, it wasn't just the bagels — the spacious layout and exotic atmosphere were popping off!

The Orange Bagel sign alone catches your eye and makes you want to walk right in haha. Between the brick and the lighting, doesn't it feel like you've landed in New York? The red-brick exterior blended with the orange color gives it that Brooklyn café mood — total mood reset><
There's especially generous parking for anyone arriving by car, so if you want to check out a large café in Suwon, it'd be a great spot for a family outing or a weekend café date too.
Inside Orange Bagel: the bagel display and signature drinks
Orange Bagel is housed in a fairly large building, so it stands out even from a distance. The interior is spacious too — really comfortable and roomy.

Once inside, there are so many kinds of bagels that this bread-lover got lost just browsing. From plain bagels to ones with cream cheese to sandwich-style bagels, there was so much variety it was fun just to look around.

True to its name, Orange Bagel also has signature orange-based drinks — the orange Americano, orange breeze, orange bianco, and more. I ordered the Orange Bianco that day>< It's a signature only available at Orange Bagel, so unlike an ordinary café where you just drink coffee, you get to try something different.

The scallion bagel is said to be Orange Bagel's signature item. It's so famous it holds the No. 1 sales spot, loved by pretty much everyone without exception. The laugen butter bagel is also clean and nutty, with the distinct buttery flavor pairing really well with the bagel — apparently it's super popular too!

There were so many other kinds of bagels too — isn't it just fun to look at them all>< This bread-lover can't just walk past haha. There were so many bagel types you can only find at Orange Bagel that I spent a good while browsing and picking.

There were bagels with salmon, jambon-beurre, and various spreads that pair well with bagels — blueberry, fig, orange, and more.
You can also buy wine along with various drinks, water, and sparkling water. With coffee, drinks, wine, and a wide range of bagels available, there's plenty of choice, making it a great café for brunch as a full meal, not just a coffee stop.

Decor to browse and the second-floor seating at Orange Bagel
With the Brooklyn-style interior, the orange color accents, and various decor pieces scattered around, there were quite a few spots worth photographing.
There was also a space selling various knick-knacks, clothes, and eco bags, which felt more like an art exhibit than a café. Rather than just feeling like a café, there were so many things to look at — from decor to products — that it felt exotic and unusual.
Head up to the second floor and there's plenty of seating. It ranges from two-person tables to seats for larger groups, and thanks to the New York-inspired interior, it's fun just to look around.
There's fun in browsing the paintings and decor scattered along the stairs and hallways. You could really feel how much detailed care went into every corner.
The window seats and spots that catch the sunlight have a great atmosphere, making for lots of great photo spots. True to a large café, the space is spacious, making it a nice setting for chatting with friends or leisurely sipping coffee.
What the family ordered at Orange Bagel, and what it cost

Scallion bagel, laugen butter bagel, corn bagel.
- 🍋 Scallion bagel: ₩8,500
- 🍋 Laugen butter bagel: ₩6,900
- 🍋 Corn bagel: ₩6,900
- 🍋 Milk patbingsu: ₩15,000

Milk patbingsu, 15,000 won

Milk patbingsu (shaved ice dessert) — only available in summer. It's a classic, basic bingsu, but it was really delicious. The chewiness of the injeolmi rice cake and the just-right sweetness of the red beans were great, and since the shaved ice is a milk-based ice, it melted so smoothly and blended perfectly with the beans and rice cake haha.

They also drizzle a little condensed milk on top, making it super refreshing — totally recommend this in the sweltering summer heat><
Scallion bagel, 8,500 won
The scallion bagel is said to be Orange Bagel's No. 1 bestseller, the most popular bagel there. It's so famous and loved by so many people without exception that I'd recommend grabbing one right away if they still have it in stock.
Corn bagel, 6,900 won

Isn't the corn bagel just adorable>< I couldn't just walk past it haha. Seeing my favorite corn piled on top of a bagel like this was so cute haha. The taste was nutty too, with the corn flavor pairing really well — I enjoyed it a lot.

Laugen butter bagel, 6,900 won

The laugen butter bagel is a popular one — the buttery flavor and the bagel's chewiness make it perfect with a cup of coffee, so I totally recommend it><
Orange Bianco, 8,500 won (iced only)
A combination of house-made orange syrup, bianco milk, espresso, and cream — how could you not order it after seeing this visual haha. It's a signature you can only find at Orange Bagel, gorgeous to look at, and delicious with the orange flavor harmonizing perfectly.

Orange Bagel, the large café in Suwon, is famous for its bagels and signature drinks, and with convenient parking, I'd definitely recommend a visit whether it's a weekend, a holiday, or just an everyday trip — if you're looking to soak in a New York-style, unusual café atmosphere.
