Baegot, Siheung Italian restaurant: corn pizza to go at Two Find Peter

I had errands in Baegot. When mealtime rolled around I was craving pasta for the first time in ages, so I looked up nearby spots and heard about a place with good food, good atmosphere and good value, so off I went.

What kind of place is Two Find Peter Baegot Branch?

Two Find Peter Baegot Branch is an Italian restaurant with a lovely atmosphere in Baegot, Siheung, where you can enjoy pasta, risotto, pizza and steak. It's a solid Baegot go-to.

Parking and how to get there

The restaurant is in Geurin-dong, but you can park free for up to 2 hours in the underground arcade lots (Green, Purple, Blue and Yellow). The public parking lot does not offer free parking.

Take the Geurin-dong elevator up to the 2nd floor and Two Find Peter Baegot Branch is right there on the right.

Atmosphere and private rooms

The restaurant has a stylish white-and-wood interior that feels upscale and clean.

There are also private rooms by party size for a quiet meal. Book ahead and you can use them for dates, family gatherings, birthdays or small events.

The menu and what we ordered

The menu is wide: gnocchi, salads, pasta, risotto, steak, pizza, pilaf and more.

You order on the tablet at each table. We ordered the following.

• Seafood tomato risotto ₩17,000
• Corn pizza ₩21,000
• Cola ₩2,500

Warm bread to start

The first thing to arrive was the bread. It was slightly chewy outside and fluffy inside, a great appetite starter. It came warm, and the softness made me happy with the first bite.

While we were eating the bread, the rest of our food was ready quickly.

How was the carbonara?

The carbonara (₩16,000) is pasta with bacon, button mushrooms and egg. The thick, rich sauce soaked moistly into the springy noodles, and the nutty flavor filled my mouth from the first bite.

The salty bacon and smooth cream went so well together that I could finish it without it ever feeling heavy.

Seafood tomato risotto: how much seafood?

The seafood tomato risotto (₩17,000) is made with fresh seafood and a house-made tomato sauce.

The sweet-and-tangy tomato sauce plus the savory depth of the seafood gave it a deep flavor.

It is generously loaded with clams, mussels, shrimp and more, and the rice was cooked just right, so the texture was satisfying too.

What does the signature corn pizza taste like?

The corn pizza (₩21,000) is Two Find Peter's signature: corn tossed in a sweet special corn sauce on a baked dough.

The popping texture of the corn made it fun to chew, and with the salty cheese I kept reaching for another slice.

Sweet corn and savory cheese go together far better than I expected. It's a flavor anyone, of any age, would like.

Are the portions big? Takeout fee for leftover pizza

For the price, the portions were by no means small. Still, it tasted so good that I kept eating and even scraped up the sauce.

But the corn pizza had to be boxed up. The takeout fee was an extra ₩1,000, but it was well worth it.

Overall verdict on Two Find Peter Baegot Branch

I was very satisfied: a wide menu at good value in a stylish setting. I want to try the other dishes too, so I'd love to go back.
