Laptop-friendly café in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan: Dubai financier, Brewers

Brewers Coffee is one of my absolute favorite cafés in Sinbu-dong, haha. It's been a while, so I'm leaving a review of both eating in and takeout! // I love every dessert and the coffee here so, so much.

Where is Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch, and when is it open?

Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch is at 20 Meokgeori 9-gil, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, Chungnam, in the Sinbu-dong food alley, and it's open daily 12:00 - 21:00. Here's the storefront.

It's in the Sinbu-dong food alley, a café lots of people adore, haha. Every time I come it's almost full,,, and on weekends there's even a wait. A real, truly local café.

Weekend waits go through Catch Table

Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch takes waitlist entries through Catch Table (a Korean reservation app). If it has Catch Table, that already says everything,,, not many cafés do, hehe. Of course!!!!

How are the coffee and desserts at Brewers Sinbu?

The desserts at Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch are really good, but the coffee is also seriously rich and tasty. I grabbed a seat the moment I arrived and went straight to order!! The signature Brewers coffee is good too, but with desserts I tend to go for an iced americano, haha.

I went in the afternoon, so a lot of the financier flavors were sold out, but that's because they're so good,,, Honestly all the baked goods + desserts here are amazing. My personal favorite financier is the salted caramel financier!

I tried the flan (custard tart) when it first came out too,,, it was so good that it has already become one of the signature items, haha. And I personally love the canelé (small caramelized French pastry) at Brewers Sinbu so, so much, ugh.

Seating and atmosphere at Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch

I love that Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch has all kinds of seating: outdoor seats, bar-style seats (dacchi), group seats and more. The vibe is just so good, sob. Pure good-feeling mood,,,

The natural light is so pretty, right? On a nice day the sun pours in, and on a rainy day you can watch the rain through the big windows. Whenever you come, this Cheonan café is a vibe spot, haha.

What I ordered this time: iced americano and Dubai financier

This visit I had work to do, so I ordered one financier and one iced americano to have in the store, and packed financiers separately as a gift for a friend!! So which financiers did I get? Here we go~~!!!

First, one iced americano!! The crema is amazing, and it's rich and tasty. Totally great //

And then the Dubai financier!! During the Dubai craze they were always sold out, people even lined up at opening, but these days Dubai is so relaxed and I love it.

Which financiers did I pack as a gift for my friend?

For my friend I packed a salted caramel financier and an apple Earl Grey financier. While eating I wanted to give financiers as a gift, so I packed them, haha. I've never met anyone who ate a financier here and said it was bad!!!! Truly the textbook crispy outside, moist inside.

Here's the takeout list, haha: salted caramel financier and apple Earl Grey financier. The salted caramel has been my favorite, but I tried the apple Earl Grey this time and it was so good.

What does the Brewers Dubai financier taste like?

The Brewers Dubai financier has a chocolate coating outside and kataifi (shredded phyllo) inside, haha. A friend recommended it, so I ordered it, and the moment I saw it I was totally smitten, haha. Dubai prices have come down a lot lately, which makes me happy,,,, And I heard Brewers packed in loads of kataifi even at the height of the Dubai craze.

The financier is crispy outside and moist inside, and the kataifi is super crispy too, the best!! The chocolate outside was good, but the crunchy kataifi inside tasted even better to me.

Is Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch good for studying or working?

Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch has wide tables and comfy chairs, so it's a great café for studying ("cagong", café studying) too!! I've gone plenty of times to study or work on my laptop!

These days the nights are cool and nice for sitting outside, and I liked that it has outdoor seats too, haha. There are lots of cafés in Sinbu-dong, but this is one you'll surely be happy with. Highly recommend, haha.
