Where is Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch?

I went to Daeyeon Station looking for a good udon spot in Daeyeon-dong. There are tons of good restaurants around Daeyeon Intersection, but among them, this new place called Misikga-ui Udon (and Misikga-ui Grill & Shabu) just opened.

The building is so new I can't even remember what used to be there, and maybe because of that it looks even nicer — like it's automatically a good spot. During the day they sell tonkatsu, cold soba, udon, and more; at night it turns into a Daeyeon-dong izakaya with all kinds of drinking snacks.

Looking at the menu board outside, it's huge, right? But the prices aren't intimidating, so it's great for visiting on a work lunch break too. I'd love to come at night for drinks and snacks. Nice to have a Daeyeon-dong izakaya where you can eat a meal and drink too.

They even officially opened as an evening izakaya starting March 1, 2026, so it seems like a great place to end the day with snacks and drinks. This is the newly opened Misikga-ui Udon right at Exit 6 of Daeyeon Station — you all should definitely check it out ^^

How long do the house-made noodles take to cook?
Misikga-ui Udon doesn't use noodles bought from a supplier — they're self-made using a special process, cooked the moment you order, so depending on the menu it can take up to about 20 minutes. We ordered the cold soba jumbo set and the udon set, and ours came out pretty quickly.

There's coffee at the entrance too

On one side there's a waiting area with various framed certificates — the owner apparently went on a journey to mainland Japan to learn how to make the noodles.
Lunchtime seating at Misikga-ui Udon
There are tables in the back and also bar-style seats. We went right at lunchtime and the tables were packed with people already eating. We showed up late! We'd been craving Japanese-style self-made noodle dishes — tonkatsu, udon, cold soba — and were wondering where to go, but now I know I can just come to Misikga-ui Udon at Daeyeon Intersection.
There's an individual salt dish plus tonkatsu sauce on the table. I love dipping in salt, so that was essential for me, while my partner happily ate the whole thing with just the tonkatsu sauce.

What comes in the jumbo set?
The jumbo set includes cold soba, tonkatsu, and curry egg rice.

Eating something cool in the hot summer really takes the edge off the heat. So we had cold soba — my partner loves cold soba —

and after a few bites of the cold broth, the AC eventually made us feel really cold. They also sell warm udon, but there's cold udon too — bukkake udon — so you can mix it up. The menu can change with the seasons, but the mains like tonkatsu, udon, and cold soba stay, and they even have hamburg steak.

This is the yuzu salad with tangerine in it, and it's delicious. It's so refreshing that we refilled it a few times.

How was the tempura udon?
I love udon, so I ordered udon. Since it's fried shrimp udon, there's a cute little fried shrimp in it,

and the tonkatsu was so big that eating this whole set alone would fill you up completely.

Worried the noodles would get soggy fast, I dug into the udon as soon as it arrived, and the fried shrimp was delicious too. This feels like a successful date at a great udon spot in Daeyeon-dong.

I dip mine in salt, my partner dips in tonkatsu sauce. We really do have such different tastes in some ways, but

the combination of curry, rice, and fried egg was really delicious.
