360° rotating MagSafe car phone mount for secure navigation: 비티냐

I’d heard that mounts that clip into a car air vent can damage the vent, so here’s the 비티냐 MagSafe mount that I attached to the dashboard for versatile use!

What’s in the box?

When the delivery arrived and I opened the box, I found it was packed with a really solid set of accessories. First, there was the mount itself, with its clean design.

In particular, it also came with two metal rings for people who don’t have an iPhone with MagSafe or who use a regular phone case. These are the key pieces: simply stick one on the back of your phone case and it snaps on like MagSafe! Seeing that they had even included a small instruction manual gave me confidence straight away.

The main mount

The first thing that caught my eye was this little guy: the main mount. Its black, round design is clean and uncluttered. The base that sticks to the dashboard and the MagSafe ring that holds the phone are connected by a joint, so I thought, “Ah, the angle adjustment is going to be really flexible.” It is small but looked quite sturdy, so I expected it to feel secure once attached in the car.

The attachment set

The most important thing when attaching a mount in the car is preparing the surface, right? 비티냐 took care of that too. It includes a set of cleaning wipes—Wet No. 1 and Dry No. 2—to clean the spot where you will attach the mount. Wipe it down with the No. 1 wet wipe, then finish with the No. 2 dry wipe so there is no moisture left, and it should attach perfectly to the dashboard. Such a thoughtful touch!

MagSafe-compatible metal rings

Even for iPhone users, these are essential if you do not use a MagSafe case; and of course, for Android phone users too! There were two round metal rings that make your phone snap on like MagSafe. One was bright silver and the other a deep teal (or dark navy), so you can choose one to suit your case color. Thanks to these rings, any phone can experience strong MagSafe-style magnetic hold. There was also one large round metal plate that appears to be for attaching to the back of a phone.

Instruction manual and places to use it

Of course, a small manual with simple installation instructions was included too, so I had no worries at all about putting it together. What I really like about the 비티냐 mount is that it is not just for the car—you can use it in versatile ways on an office desk or at home as well~

Installation and how the rotation feels in real use

After checking the components, I installed it in my car right away. I cleaned the surface with the wipes, pressed the mount firmly into place, and it was securely fixed!

The biggest appeal of this mount was definitely its free rotation and powerful magnetic hold. Turn it sideways to view navigation, then stand it upright when you are briefly driving and on a call. Its 360° rotation was so smooth that I could adjust the angle with one hand without taking the phone off.

The magnet was seriously strong too. Even when driving on an unpaved road or going thump! over a speed bump, the smartphone never fell off. I was able to drive while safely keeping my view clear, without worrying about it rattling around.

You can also attach it to the windshield like this, so I found it more convenient and safer to drive while following T Map navigation. Driving while holding your phone without a mount is dangerous, and you could easily take a wrong turn, so I think a mount like this is something everyone should have!
