Why we stopped at Notldun before the Seoulsup night insect class

On the day my child and I signed up for a night insect class at Seoulsup, we got to Seongsu early and stopped by the dessert café Notldun (노틀던). Since we were early, we even squeezed in a little date, haha. It's such a great dessert spot that I keep thinking about it, this Seongsu Notldun!

Notldun location and opening hours

Notldun is on the 1st floor at 11 Seoulsup 2-gil, Seongsu-dong 1-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It's open daily 11:00–22:00, with last order at 21:30.

Last time I had to wait, but this time we walked straight in with no wait. So happy!! *_*

Desserts we picked from the Notldun display case

The showcase was packed with desserts and my child was thrilled. Look how excited my kid is at a Seongsu dessert hotspot! Both of us were feasting our eyes on the full showcase. Pretty from far away, pretty up close!! *_*

We talked about the cake we had last time, then started with the salted caramel mille-feuille that I'd wanted before but was sold out!

Baked sweets made with care! So delicate and lovely! *_* They work as gifts, but you can also enjoy them in the café!! And oh my, even the tissue holder is a canelé mold, such a clever touch!! *_*

And we ordered a strawberry latte too!!

Notldun's open kitchen and Valrhona 40th anniversary dessert

Notldun has an open kitchen, so we could watch the desserts being made. The workspace is spotless too!!

How does Notldun's Forêt Noire taste?

Notldun's Forêt Noire (포레누아) is a cherry cake, a meeting of a tart and a mousse cake. Enjoying it properly at a Seongsu dessert café! *_*

My child loved it, saying the cherry was super sweet! It feels so upscale!! A chocolate tart shell, chocolate cake layer, then cherry jam and mousse cake! The combination is absolutely the best! *_*

Pretty and delicious too, what could be better!! The kind of taste that keeps your fork going!!

Notldun salted caramel mille-feuille and strawberry latte

Notldun's salted caramel mille-feuille has all my favorite things in one! And it's filled with cream!! *_* Smooth, sweet cream inside chocolate and crispy mille-feuille pastry, what a combination~

The sweet and tangy strawberry latte was good too!

Is Notldun a good dessert café for a Seoulsup outing with kids?

Great atmosphere and great taste, a Seongsu dessert hotspot! A lovely place to buy dessert gifts, and the packaging makes it even better!! *_*

Not only is it good for a Seongsu date, the tasty desserts make you even happier!! *_* Seoulsup is close by, so it's perfect to come for a Seoulsup date and enjoy Notldun too!!

In a Seongsu café with a lovely mood, I ate dessert in comfort and even finished a whole fun book, a relaxed stretch of time!!

If you're looking for a Seongsu dessert hotspot, I recommend Notldun! A day of tasty desserts at Notldun and a proper insect exploration too. Next time I visit Seoulsup, I'll come to Notldun for Seongsu desserts again! *_*
