Hangover breakfast milmyeon at a Busan Station restaurant: Yeongdong
In short
Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap Busan Station Branch is a milmyeon (cold wheat noodles) and pork soup restaurant on the 2nd floor of a hotel building across from Busan Station Exit 6. Arriving in Busan on the morning of the Liberation Day holiday, the writer went straight there with her child and shared a large mul milmyeon for 9,000 won and a dwaeji gukbap (pork soup) for 10,000 won to shake off the night before. Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap is roomy and clean enough to park a suitcase beside the table, which makes it an easy first meal after the train.

A typhoon was forecast for the Liberation Day holiday weekend.. so here starts what might be my last Busan trip of the summer 🍷 Landed in Busan and immediately grabbed breakfast at this Busan Station pork soup spot — here's the review!
Where is Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap Busan Station Branch, and when is it open?

It's on the 2nd floor of the hotel building right across from Busan Station Exit 6. Just take the escalator up. I woke up at 5am starving, so having this be basically right at the station was a huge plus.

We opened our doors in the heart of Busan Station, the beginning and end of every Busan trip, to serve a comfortable meal to travelers and locals alike. We hope to be the first place people eat when they arrive in Busan, and the last memorable meal before they head home — and we prepare every dish with that care in mind.

Ride the escalator up and Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap greets you with a really clean-looking exterior 🐽 I wanted to try both of Busan's signature dishes — pork soup and cold milmyeon — and here you can get both under one roof!!

Can you bring a suitcase inside?
The inside of Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap Busan Station Branch is airy, spacious and clean, so it was easy to keep our big suitcase by the table.

A Busan Station favorite that keeps it simple — specializing in milmyeon, pork soup, and sundae gukbap.
Since I drank way too much last night.. gotta start with a warm cup of broth first, hangover-cure style.

The basic side dishes were kkakdugi (radish kimchi), broth, dried radish strips, and chives.

Large mul milmyeon for 9,000 won and dwaeji gukbap for 10,000 won
I was craving something cold so I ordered the large mul milmyeon for ₩9,000.

Two whole eggs!! Protein fully loaded~ my kid and I shared one each.
My kid's dwaeji gukbap for ₩10,000. The milky broth was loaded with suyuk that had zero gamey smell.
The milmyeon noodles have a texture kind of like jjolmyeon (chewy noodles), but a bit less chewy and cleaner in flavor — really excellent.

Today's stars, milmyeon and dwaeji gukbap, side by side~! Eating the cold, refreshing milmyeon felt like it washed away yesterday's hangover completely.

What I loved about Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap Busan Station Branch was how clean and hygienic the space felt. Easy to bring kids here.

The milmyeon has this mild yet clean charm~! The sauce is a bit spicy too, which suited my taste perfectly since I love spicy food.

First meal of the trip, so a welcome drink is a must!

The milmyeon comes with slices of meat similar to pyeonyuk (thin sliced boiled pork), and they were huge~! Dip it in salted shrimp for pure bliss 🥢

The dwaeji gukbap wasn't too heavy — a clean style. Clear broth, but with deep flavor~

Dip the meat in salted shrimp for the finishing touch~!
