Hiyashi tsukemen with family at City Hall Station ramen spot: Mentsuru
Mentsuru City Hall Branch is a ramen restaurant tucked in the alley right by Exit 10 of City Hall Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. The writer went with her ramen-obsessed parents for soy sauce ramen, spicy soy sauce ramen (hangover ramen), and hiyashi tsukemen, plus a whole bowl of yuzu-scented pickled radish polished off before the noodles even arrived. With free rice and extra noodles added for the big-eater family, not a drop of broth was left behind.
