Today I wanted to treat a friend I hadn't seen in ages, who had come to visit Sejong, to something really tasty. So here's my lunch at Olibus Italian Restaurant Eojin-dong Flagship, a well-known Western-food spot near Sejong Lake Park.
Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship opening hours
Olibus Italian Restaurant Eojin-dong Flagship is open daily 11:00–20:30, with a break from 15:00 to 17:00. Last order is 14:20 for lunch and 19:50 for dinner, and for the whole of June it's closed every Thursday.
Location and parking
The restaurant is at Unit 113 on the 1st floor of Building B of the Sejong Business Center in Eojin-dong, Sejong, between the Nerd Burger and Freedom Hill (자유의언덕) shops. Use the building's underground car park; the restaurant covers 1 hour of parking (you have to ask), and they say up to 1 hour 45 minutes in total is covered.
- Take elevator 5 or 6 by pillar A3 in the underground car park up to the 1st floor
- The building is split into Buildings A and B, so head to the B side
Atmosphere and reservations
Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship is a Sejong restaurant that was registered 4th on the Blue Ribbon Survey for pasta and pizza.
Inside there are 9 tables. To use your lunch hour efficiently, a reservation is a must (Naver Reservation or Catch Table). They also do delivery and takeout, so you can enjoy proper Italian home cooking at home too!

Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship is a welcome kids zone, with 2 high chairs and children's tableware ready. When you book via Naver or Catch Table, write in the request box that you'd like a high chair set up.
Menu and how to order
The menu is divided into STARTERS, SHARE DISHES, STEAK, PASTA, SET MENU, RISOTTO, PIZZA and DRINKS.
I pre-ordered my menu when I booked, but if you order at the restaurant, you do it with the QR code stuck on each table.

Pumpkin gnocchi: the gnocchi spot I finally found in Sejong
The gnocchi was chewy and the homemade pumpkin purée sauce was smooth and sweet, so my spoon kept going back for more. I've finally found a great gnocchi place in Sejong! The pumpkin gnocchi at Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship is something I'd order again.
Red shrimp rosé panne: the taste that made me like rosé pasta
They say the red shrimp rosé panne (pasta served in a bread bowl) is the most popular of Olibus's pasta dishes. I wasn't really a rosé pasta person, but after trying this, turns out I like rosé pasta, haha.
It comes with two big butter-seared red shrimp, so we each had one, and the rich rosé sauce is really the star. Of all the pastas, this was the one my friend enjoyed the most~~
Octopus ink risotto: tender octopus and lemon
I really love ink risotto, and now I can have octopus ink risotto at Olibus in Sejong too!
We cut off a piece of the octopus leg and tried a bite each, and it was cooked so tenderly. The shrimp garnish and sun-dried tomatoes added great flavor, and squeezing the provided lemon over it made me feel like I was in Italy~
Pickles at Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship are only served if you ask, so keep that in mind!

The Olibus stamp coupon gives 1 stamp per ₩10,000 paid, and when it's full you can choose 2 ades, 2 glasses of house wine or 2 Americanos. It works at both the Eojin and Boram branches. After a lovely meal, I made a coupon when I paid too.
Would I go back to Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship?
After trying it once, I understood why so many people keep coming back. It's the kind of restaurant where I'm already thinking about what to eat next time. Thanks for the meal today~~
