Quiet café for solo visits near Suwon Station: apple yuzu tea, Tteum

I had some business at Suwon Station and was looking for a café that wouldn't be too crowded. I found a calm-looking one, so I visited Tteum Café by Oneplay (띰 카페 바이 원플레이).

I often use cafes near Suwon Station, but this was my first time at Tteum Café. It sits inside the Lady Furniture Suwon showroom, so it's easy to walk past, but it turns out to be a café specializing in hand drip and brewed coffee.

For parking I used the officetel garage in the same building. It's free for 1 hour with a café visit.

Menu: bean lineup and croffle prices

As a place specializing in hand drip and brewed coffee, it has a wide bean lineup. There are specialty beans like kopi luwak and geisha, plus the Goto Milano blend, so you can choose to suit your taste. There are also non-coffee drinks, signature drinks and desserts, so it seemed easy for people who don't drink coffee to visit too.

There are plenty of dessert cakes too. They're handmade by the brand itself, so the quality of the desserts looked good.

Plain croffle (croissant waffle) ₩9,900, ice cream croffle ₩10,900, chocolate ice cream croffle ₩11,900, Lotus ice cream croffle ₩12,900. They looked so tasty that I ordered a croffle without a second thought.

Sniffing the beans and choosing your cup

You can also do a coffee aroma test. After smelling several beans yourself, it seems like fun to find the scent that suits you. It's not something you can easily do normally, and it was a space where you could compare the aromas of different beans and figure out which coffee suits you.

There were all kinds of coffee cups, from colorful flower patterns to elegant designs. What makes Tteum Café by Oneplay special is that when you order specialty coffee, you can pick the cup you want yourself.

I think even the taste changes depending on the cup, so drinking coffee this way would feel more special. If you love coffee, I think you'd be very happy with a small detail like this.

Inside the café: a calm mood for sitting alone

Each table has a QR code so you can check the menu in advance. The interior is neat overall. There aren't a lot of tables, but it doesn't feel cramped, so I could stay and relax.

Quiet music plays softly and the mood is calm overall, so it was good for coming alone to enjoy coffee. It's near Suwon Station, so it's a good place to drop in and rest before or after an appointment, and fine for a relaxed chat too.

Since the café is inside the Lady Furniture showroom, it was fun to look at the pretty furniture and interiors. Being able to browse all kinds of furniture while enjoying a drink was a charm of its own.

What I ordered: ice cream croffle and apple yuzu tea

The crispy croffle and the soft, cold ice cream went together really well. You can also control the syrup poured on top yourself, so it was a dessert you could enjoy moderately sweet alongside a drink.

I wanted a cool, clean tea instead of coffee, so I ordered the apple yuzu tea. Its subtle sweetness wasn't overpowering. It's a coffee-focused café, but it was a combination that works well for people who don't drink coffee too.

A satisfying Suwon Station café where I could feel the ease of a cup of coffee along with the comfort of the space. If you love coffee, or you're looking for a calm dessert café with a nice atmosphere, I hope you'll visit.
