Hi, this is Nakdo haha. Since I moved down to Sejong I've really been eating my way through it lol haha. This time I was trying to figure out where to take my mom and dad and ended up at Olibus Italian Restaurant in Eojin-dong — a solid pasta spot in Sejong.
We'd had a lot of Korean food already and wanted something different......... so I looked into Italian places and this is where we landed!!! It's Blue Ribbon selected too.

Where is Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship, and what does it look like?

Olibus Italian Restaurant's flagship location is in Building B of the SBC Center on Gareum-ro in Eojin-dong, Sejong, so it wasn't hard to find. It's in an area with a cluster of restaurants nearby, so driving there was fine and access was decent overall.
The exterior is clean and catches your eye even just passing by. The vibe isn't intimidating, so it was easy to walk in even on a first visit.
Inside Olibus: table spacing made for talking with parents

Inside, Olibus is well organized overall and the tables have generous spacing, so it was comfortable to sit. I went with my mom and dad, and it wasn't loud, so we could actually talk — perfect for a family meal. The lighting wasn't too bright either, which made it an easy place to eat.

What is on the Olibus menu, and the three dishes we ordered
Olibus's menu is organized into pasta, risotto, and pizza, with a few meat dishes as well. It's built around solid Italian basics, so it wasn't hard to choose.
- Aglio olio pasta
- Octopus ink risotto
- Gorgonzola pizza
That's how we split the order. When you go as a family, ordering a bunch of dishes to share like this works really well.
When the food came out, the plating was clean and looked great — the kind of visual that makes you snap a photo before eating lol.
Aglio olio pasta at Olibus: how mild is it?

We started with the pasta — the noodles were cooked well and the sauce matched nicely. It wasn't too greasy, so it was easy to keep eating without feeling weighed down. My mom kept eating it too, saying it was good haha.
Octopus ink risotto, the dish my parents liked most

We ate the risotto too, and it was genuinely so good............ genuinely. If you're going with your dad? Order this. Hah. The seasoning wasn't strong, so it was easy to keep eating without feeling overwhelmed. My dad doesn't usually go for risotto, but even he said this one was good lol.
Gorgonzola pizza at Olibus, served without cinnamon

We ordered a pizza too, and the crust was on the thinner side, which made it easy to eat alongside the other dishes. The cheese was just right and the toppings weren't excessive, so it didn't get tiring even after several slices.
Overall, we talked and ate slowly with my mom and dad that day, and it was nice being able to eat without feeling weighed down. Italian food can sometimes get too heavy, but there was none of that feeling here — we ate comfortably all the way through haha. The aglio olio especially was amazing. It's a menu lineup that's easy for anyone to enjoy, so it's a great place to come together.
Service and weekend crowds at Olibus Eojin-dong

Olibus is also running a review event lol. The staff were friendly too, but!!! they looked super busy... the place was completely full. Really popular haha.
They took our order quickly, and whenever we needed something, they took care of it right away — really appreciated that.
Honestly, when you're traveling with your parents, picking food is always the hardest part. They can't handle overly rich or spicy food, but plain food feels lacking too... My parents really enjoyed the food here. They kept eating the side dishes and said it was delicious, which made me weirdly proud.
Final take: a proper sit-down meal in Eojin-dong, Sejong
Since moving down to Sejong I've been trying all sorts of places, and this time I just wanted a comfortable meal — and it turned out to be an easy, satisfying day. It works fine coming with parents, and it'd be just as good coming with friends.
When you want a proper meal in Eojin-dong, not just something quick, this is a solid Italian option. It's good for ordering a bunch of dishes to share, and easy to eat comfortably, so I think I'll swing by again next time I'm in Sejong haha.
