Sejong pasta spot by Geumgang Riverside Park: red shrimp rosé, Olivus
In short
Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch is a pasta and risotto restaurant in Boram-dong, Sejong, near Geumgang Riverside Park, and the writer reports it was a Blue Ribbon pick two years running, in 2025 and 2026. On a weekend visit the writer ordered red shrimp rosé panne pasta, vongole pasta, top blade cream risotto, a triple berry ade and a lemon ade: the cream risotto wasn't greasy, the top blade was nicely grilled, the red shrimp were large and the vongole came loaded with clams. For a date or family meal somewhere with a nice atmosphere, Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch is an easy recommendation.

I went to a really good pasta place this weekend.

What is Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch like?
Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch (올리부스 꼼파뇨 세종 보람점) is on Sicheong-daero in Boram-dong, Sejong, and it has a reputation as a great pasta spot. I heard it was named a Blue Ribbon restaurant two years in a row, in 2025 and 2026, so my expectations were high before I even sat down. Here's the pasta, the risotto and the atmosphere of this Boram-dong favorite.

Atmosphere and interior of Olivus Compagno
Olivus Compagno caught my eye every time I went to Geumgang Riverside Park.

I kept thinking "I should go... I should go..." and finally did. Inside, the mood was even better than I expected.

It suits a date and also works well for a family meal. Stylish paintings and small decor pieces fill every corner, so just looking around the interior is fun.

Each space has its own character, so I was already in a good mood before the food arrived. Good food plus a nice setting made me even more excited.
What we ordered at Olivus Compagno
The menu was full of things I wanted to try, so I agonized over it for a long time.

After much debate, today's picks were three dishes!
- Red shrimp rosé panne pasta (pasta served in a bread bowl)
- Vongole pasta (clam pasta)
- Top blade cream risotto
I also ordered a triple berry ade and a lemon ade. I was excited reading reviews that made everything sound delicious, and with the Blue Ribbon expectations on top, waiting for the food was fun.
Is the top blade cream risotto too heavy?
The top blade cream risotto at Olivus Compagno wasn't heavy at all, and the steak was grilled especially well. And the food is here!

All three dishes looked so appetizing that I couldn't wait to dig in. I started with the top blade cream risotto.

Cream risotto can easily get heavy, but this one had zero greasiness. It was rich and deep in flavor, and it tasted high-end to me. I especially loved how the top blade was cooked.

When I cook steak at home it's not easy to get it this good;; It was cooked just right, so the texture was great too. Savory cream risotto with perfectly grilled top blade! I really want to praise the grilling on this one 👍🏻
How is the red shrimp rosé panne pasta?
The red shrimp rosé panne pasta at Olivus Compagno combined a rich, slightly spicy rosé sauce, big red shrimp and panne bread nicely. Next up: the red shrimp rosé panne pasta!

Just as the menu described, a touch of spice made the rosé sauce's flavor even more appealing. Above all, I really liked the sauce. The rich rosé went so well with the panne bread that dipping the bread in it felt like a whole other dish.

And the big red shrimp! They were so generous in size that I wondered if it was okay to be this plump, and they caught my eye before I even ate. The slightly spicy rosé sauce, the big shrimp and the bread soaked in sauce all worked together, and I was very satisfied.
Does the vongole pasta have plenty of clams?
The vongole pasta at Olivus Compagno was packed with clams and the savory depth came through well. I usually love vongole pasta. I often make pasta at home, but honestly vongole is sneakily hard to get right.

The ingredients look simple, but bringing out the savory flavor from the clams is what really matters, right?

I liked that the vongole pasta here was loaded with clams. The flavor and umami from the clams came through well, so I could properly enjoy a dish I love. Thanks to the generous clams, every bite had a taste of the sea. It's something I eat often and have tried in many places, and this one satisfied me too.

After trying all three dishes, I could see why people call this a great pasta place.

Triple berry ade and lemon ade
And the triple berry ade and lemon ade I ordered with the meal! With rich dishes like cream risotto and rosé pasta, a refreshing drink goes well alongside. Instead of just eating, I got to enjoy a relaxed meal with the ades.
A Sejong pasta restaurant I'd visit again
Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch, which I'd been curious about every time I visited Geumgang Riverside Park!

The stylish interior made for a great atmosphere, and the food, from the red shrimp rosé panne pasta to the vongole pasta and top blade cream risotto, was satisfying. If you're in Sejong craving good pasta or risotto, or looking for a nice spot for a date or a family meal, it's worth stopping by.

It was as tasty as I'd hoped, a lovely meal at a Boram-dong favorite! Recommended!!
