In short

Sindorim Sambaekga (신도림삼백가) is a Korean restaurant near Sindorim Station that I absolutely adore. I've lost count of how many times I've been back, so yes, I'm a true regular of this jokbal (braised pig's trotters), bossam (boiled pork wraps) and kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) place! The clean, mild flavors are the draw, and locals and office workers around here all say it's the real deal for Korean food near Sindorim Station. I hadn't been in a while, and the taste hadn't changed one bit. Here's my honest review : )
Where is Sindorim Sambaekga, and where can you park?

Sindorim Sambaekga is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 1 of Sindorim Station (Lines 1 and 2), on the ground floor of the Prugio Phase 1 shopping arcade. If you come by public transport, you'll find it easily.

If you drive, you can use the Sindorim Prugio Phase 1 underground car park. When you pay and head out, tell the staff you parked there and they'll cover up to 2 hours of parking.
Is there a wait at Sindorim Sambaekga during the dinner rush?

At lunch and dinner peaks, even a little lateness can mean a wait at Sindorim Sambaekga. It's such a popular Korean restaurant in the area that I literally sprinted over after work 😂

Luckily exactly one 4-person table was left, so we sat down without waiting, and a line started forming right after us.

When you visit in the evening, they'll ask whether you're having jokbal/bossam or a noodle meal like kalguksu. Since the jokbal and bossam portions are big, meal guests get the small tables and drinking-snack guests get the big tables.
How to order and pay at Sindorim Sambaekga

You order on the tablet at each table. At lunch you can pay by card right on the tablet, and at dinner you pay at the counter on your way out. There are lots of menu items and options, so in the original post the writer filmed a video showing the whole menu at a glance.
Sindorim Sambaekga side dishes, including cold jokbal

Right after we ordered, they set out the basics: a chive salad and wrapping vegetables that go well with jokbal and bossam, and you can tell at a glance how fresh the ingredients are 👍

Salted shrimp, ssamjang (seasoned dipping paste), garlic sauce, dried radish strips and napa cabbage kimchi came out too, and that kimchi is so sweet and tasty, perfect with jokbal and bossam 👍
What I find great value is that the basic spread even includes cold jokbal (naengchae jokbal)! So even people who only eat bossam get to taste jokbal,,,!✨
Sambaek Jokbal + Kalguksu Set for 51,000 won: how is the jokbal?

We ordered the Sambaek Jokbal + Kalguksu Set (₩51,000) at Sindorim Sambaekga. It's a good-value set where you get killer jokbal and kalguksu together.

I hear Sindorim Sambaekga hand-selects only Korean grade-1 raw trotters every day and strictly sticks to boiling and selling on the same day. So you can trust the freshness and quality.

I heard the owner researched jokbal for a very long time. Unlike ordinary jokbal elsewhere that's all herbal medicine smell, the jokbal here is nutty and deeply flavorful. Beginners who dislike that herbal smell can eat it without any trouble.

I confidently recommended it to a friend, hyping it up like "this place is the real, real, REAL deal" (maybe a bit too much?), and after one bite they admitted it right away and the plate vanished in a blink 🤣
Sindorim Sambaekga kalguksu: fresh noodles and broth
The kalguksu that came next uses 100% fresh noodles, they say. The chewy, springy texture is wonderful.
The broth is deeper and more savory than at most famous kalguksu specialists, so if you're looking for a hearty lunch near Sindorim, I confidently recommend Sambaekga.

With snacks this good, how do you resist drinking? 🤣 We happily knocked back somaek (soju mixed with beer) with the fresh jokbal 😋

Free self-serve barley rice for kalguksu orders
Another reason Sindorim Sambaekga feels like amazing value: guests who eat kalguksu can help themselves to barley rice for free.

There's a self-serve bar in the middle of the hall, where you add gochujang (red chili paste) and sesame oil to taste and make your own bibimbap (mixed rice).
Personally, the yeolmu kimchi (young summer radish kimchi) here is so good that every time I come I put a little on my barley rice. Just sprinkle on gochujang and sesame oil to your liking and mix it up well 😋
It tastes healthy but also delicious (?). It's the kind of flavor that doesn't make your body feel bad, so I always end up stuffing myself,,,!🤣
A regular's go-to jokbal restaurant near Sindorim Station

Whether it's the main jokbal and bossam or the side dishes, everything at Sindorim Sambaekga is made carefully in the shop every day, so you always get healthy, tasty Korean food.

I visited on a sponsored basis, but it's a place I've been going back to as a true regular for ages, so you can trust me, a self-proclaimed food connoisseur, and go with confidence.
You can book through Naver Reservation on the Naver Map My Place page, and they say if you turn on shop notifications, order jokbal/bossam and write a review, you get a coupon for a free kalguksu.
