Yeouido burger pub for a solo triple burger combo: Bass Burger
In short
Bass Burger Yeouido is a handmade burger pub on basement level 1 of the Yulchon Building near Yeouido Station, Seoul, close to The Hyundai Seoul. Eating solo at the long bar table, the writer ordered the new chili mozzarella cheese bar (3,700 won per piece), a Triple Bass Burger combo (17,000 won) and the house craft lager, Bass Lager (5,500 won). The stretchy chili mozzarella cheese bar alone makes Bass Burger Yeouido worth the trip.

If you're looking for a great handmade burger place in Yeouido, I recommend Bass Burger (바스버거). It's near The Hyundai Seoul, so it works for a meal after shopping or for an office lunch from Yeouido Station. This time I tried the Triple Bass Burger combo, the new chili mozzarella cheese bar and Bass Lager, so here's my honest review.

Bass Burger Yeouido atmosphere: is it okay for eating solo?
Bass Burger Yeouido has a pub feel, with purple neon signs and vintage Edison bulb lighting, and the long bar table layout means eating alone is no pressure at all. The lighting sets the mood the moment you walk in, so even in the daytime it feels like being in a pub, which I liked. Every table has a tablet ordering system, so ordering was easy.

Don't skip the free self-serve chips
At the self-serve corner next to the tables, James Gam (제임스감) potato chips sit in a big container, and they're free. You scoop them out yourself with tongs. They're thin, crunchy handmade chips, a perfect match for beer. They're free, so definitely help yourself.

What I ordered and the prices
- New chili mozzarella cheese bar, 1 piece ₩3,700 × 2
- Triple Bass Burger combo ₩17,000
- Bass Lager 4.7% ₩5,500

Bass Lager for ₩5,500: does it go with a burger?
Bass Lager is a craft lager brewed by Bass Burger itself, 400ml for ₩5,500 at 4.7% ABV. It's a clean lager with a nutty smoothness going down and a sweet finish, and it really does go well with a burger. The price is easy on the wallet, and it washed away the spiciness of the chili mozzarella cheese bar perfectly. At 4.7%, it's just right for a light drink alongside your meal.

The new chili mozzarella cheese bar is the real highlight
The new chili mozzarella cheese bar (₩3,700 per piece) was by far the most memorable item of this visit. It's brand new, yet it has already hit 8 orders, so it's crazy popular. The outside is fried crisp, and when you bite in, the mozzarella stretches out in long strings. It's honestly amazing to see in person, so be sure to take a photo of the cheese pull. It's perfect for posting on social media.
On the taste side, the crunch of the coating comes first, then chewy, nutty mozzarella bursts out from inside. After that, an American chili-style heat builds up in three levels, and the balance between richness and spice is really well done. The more you chew, the more you keep reaching for it, and nothing beats it as a beer snack.

Triple Bass Burger combo for ₩17,000: is it filling enough for the price?
The Triple Bass Burger combo is ₩17,000 and is a hefty burger with three beef patties. I ordered it as my main, and the patties were nutty and clean-tasting, so it never felt greasy.

It's generously topped with butterhead lettuce, and the bun is soft and moist, balancing nicely with the patties. ₩17,000 may feel a bit steep at first, but once it arrives, the volume makes it make sense. For a solo lunch in Yeouido, this is a very satisfying meal.

Bass Burger Yeouido: overall verdict
The chili mozzarella cheese bar is a new item but so well made that you should order it every time you go to Bass Burger. Fill up on the Triple Bass Burger combo and finish with a glass of Bass Lager, and it's not easy to find this much satisfaction at this price in Yeouido. If you're looking for a tasty lunch near The Hyundai Seoul, or a good spot for office workers at Yeouido Station, I strongly recommend Bass Burger 😊
