In short
Low Five Anguk is a pizza and pasta restaurant in a Bukchon alley in Jongno, Seoul, a 3-minute walk from Exit 2 of Anguk Station. Maru is a total Bukchon lover, so I'm in Bukchon a lot, and this time I found a pizza place with a great atmosphere: Low Five Anguk! It sits in one of Bukchon's signature moody alleys, so it's perfect to drop into during a stroll on a nice day >.< I like pizza anyway and went in with high hopes, but it beat them by a mile, so I'm here to tell you about it ♥

How do you get to Low Five Anguk from Anguk Station?
Low Five Anguk is a 3-minute walk from Exit 2 of Anguk Station. Just walk a little way down the hanok-flavored streets of Bukchon and you'll find it easily~ There are so many pretty cafés and restaurants around Anguk Station, but Low Five was the one that gave me the strongest stylish, good-vibes feeling!

What are the interior and window seats like at Low Five Anguk?
The inside of Low Five Anguk is a charming space where wood-tone interiors and soft lighting work together, with red accents here and there ♥ I went on a weekday lunch and it was still really crowded. The window seats are especially lovely because you can keep the windows open!! Natural light streamed in so beautifully during the day, it was just gorgeous ㅠㅠ

Once I sat down, the staff neatly set the table, and you order by scanning a QR code!

What did we order at Low Five Anguk?
At Low Five Anguk I ordered a half-and-half pizza, a truffle cream pasta and a drink! Low Five is a pizza place, but there's plenty more to enjoy, like pasta, fried rice and lasagna, and I liked that you can order pizza half-and-half too.

Half-and-half pizza (corn + hot chili potato)
For the half-and-half pizza, I got one side corn and the other side hot chili potato. The pizza came out first and it already looked incredible. It was fresh from the oven so of course it was delicious, and the dough was soft and chewy, so good.
You know pizza only stays un-boring if the dough is good, right?!

On the corn pizza, the popping corn kernels were sweet and nutty and tamed the slightly punchy flavors. It's a soft, easy-to-eat style that I think anyone would like! The hot chili potato is the total opposite kind of charm >.< It's a little spicy, with crunchy potato chips on top, so the texture was so much fun...! It paired really well with the sweet, nutty corn pizza ♡

Truffle cream pasta
The truffle cream pasta had a lovely subtle truffle aroma, and the cream sauce was rich and thick, exactly my taste >.< I ordered it because it's the kind of pasta Maru, a proud "egen-nam" (^^) (a soft, sweet-type guy), loves. It went well with the mushrooms, the noodles were cooked just right, and it was so nice and nutty to eat ♡ If you like thick, creamy cream pasta, definitely try it!!

The food was so good that I ended up having a beer in the middle of the day... kyaa
