Saturday noon wait and seating at Shabre Garden Ulsan Nam-gu Branch
When I arrived at 12:00 on Saturday there was no wait, and a line formed after 12:30. The space is big with plenty of seats, so even with lots of families and groups it was comfortable.

The interior is very spacious and the tables are nicely spaced out! It works for family meals, dates, get-togethers with friends and company dinners. It was a weekend with lots of families and groups, but there were enough seats that I got in without waiting.

(Saturday at 12:00: no wait. After 12:30: wait.)
How much is Shabre Garden Ulsan Nam-gu Branch?
Per adult, it's ₩24,900 for weekday lunch, ₩29,900 for weekday dinner and ₩31,900 on weekends and holidays. That includes shabu-shabu, sushi, side dishes, dessert and unlimited draft beer, so I felt the value was good.

- ✔️ Weekday lunch: ₩24,900 per adult
- ✔️ Weekday dinner: ₩29,900 per adult
- ✔️ Weekends / holidays: ₩31,900 per adult
Shabu-shabu plus sushi, sides and dessert made the value feel good to me! You know how these days lunch or dinner runs about ₩15,000 plus another ₩15,000 for coffee and dessert, right? And with unlimited draft beer too, this price doesn't feel expensive at all 🍺
Shabu-shabu broths and meat: beef brisket vs. chuck
The main event at Shabre Garden is premium shabu-shabu with broth and fresh ingredients. There were two broths: jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup flavor) and a mild one.

The shabu-shabu meat comes as beef brisket (usamgyeop) and beef chuck (umokshim). Personally I found the brisket nuttier and tastier! Brisket recommended~~ Take as much as you like, but please only take what you can finish!
Fresh vegetables and plenty of toppings

The fresh vegetables were neatly laid out. There was a good variety for shabu-shabu, like napa cabbage, bean sprouts and mushrooms, and you can bring as much as you want. What do you like to put in your shabu-shabu~?! My personal favorite combo is bean sprouts + bok choy + enoki mushrooms (๑´ڡ`๑)
There were also toppings kids would love, like Nemo fish cakes, sausages and meatballs, so picking your own was fun!

Nemo fish cakes, dumplings, shrimp, fuzhu (dried tofu skin), mushrooms and more, all ready to go!

The table is all set♥
What are the sushi and side dishes like at Shabre Garden?
Sushi dining corner

🍣 The sushi quality was satisfying too! It's a shabu-shabu buffet so I didn't expect much from the sushi, but it was better than I thought. There was a good variety, and my personal pick was the California roll.

My all-time favorite is the shrimp sushi~!
Salad and tempura

🥗 There's a nice range of salads and fried items too! Beyond shabu-shabu and sushi, there were plenty of sides like salads and tempura. The tempura in particular wasn't soggy but crispy, and tastier than I expected.
Fried rice to finish the shabu-shabu

🍚 Fried rice is the classic way to end shabu-shabu! You can't skip it after a shabu-shabu meal! Fried in the broth that has deepened from simmering meat and vegetables, it was a hearty way to finish right to the end.
Shabre Garden dessert corner: the affogato combo to try
The dessert corner at Shabre Garden Ulsan Nam-gu Branch has a chocolate fountain, waffles you bake yourself, ice cream and patbingsu (shaved ice with red beans) where you pick your own toppings. I brewed coffee and poured it over ice cream to make an affogato, and I recommend this combo.

🍰 A perfect finish with dessert! The dessert corner has so much variety that I stayed satisfied even after the meal. You can dip marshmallows in the chocolate fountain, and the waffles you cook yourself were a fun change. There's ice cream, of course, and you can even build your own patbingsu with the toppings you like! I brewed coffee and made an affogato haha 🍨 (Recommend this combo!!!)
Fresh fruit for dessert

🍉 There's a nice variety of fresh fruit too. After the meal, various fruits were ready as a final treat. Finishing a hearty shabu-shabu meal with refreshing fruit left my mouth feeling clean, and the dessert was perfect 🍉
Verdict on Shabre Garden Ulsan Nam-gu Branch
Shabre Garden Ulsan Nam-gu Branch is a "triple threat" spot where you can get a meal, dessert and draft beer all at once. The quality of each dish is good too, so much that I wished my stomach were bigger! If you're looking for a place for a family gathering, date, get-together with friends or company dinner, I recommend giving Shabre Garden Ulsan Nam-gu Branch a visit!
