Changwon hair salon tone-down color for pool-faded hair: Vivienne Hair
In short
Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch, is a large hair salon on the 2nd floor of the Baskin-Robbins building across from McDonald's in Sangnam-dong, Changwon. After a consultation with a designer, the writer had swimming-pool-faded hair that had separated into uneven color bands toned down with Objet color at Vivienne Hair, and the result was an even shade with a subtle gloss that did not look black or heavy. Verdict: for tidying up patchy, faded hair, Objet color at Vivienne Hair was a satisfying choice.

Lately, whenever I saw photos someone else had taken of me, I thought, 'Why does my hair look like that...' I kept putting it off out of pure laziness, but I finally decided enough was enough, searched for a Changwon hair salon that's good at dyeing, and visited Vivienne Hair in Sangnam-dong!

Where is Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch, and what are its hours?
Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch (비비엔느헤어 창원상남점) is at 23 Danjeong-ro, Seongsan-gu, Changwon, Gyeongnam, 2nd floor, Unit 201, and it's open daily from 10:00 to 21:00. It's on the 2nd floor of the Baskin-Robbins building across from McDonald's in Sangnam-dong.

How do you park at Vivienne Hair in Sangnam-dong?
You can use the building's basement garage or get parking support at the Real Parking lot. Parking is always the worry in Sangnam-dong!
My appointment was coming up fast and it was a hot day, so I didn't feel like walking and used the basement garage. It's cramped and narrow, and there are tons of scrape marks everywhere. If you're a beginner driver, use the Real Parking lot!!

Inside Vivienne Hair's Sangnam branch
Head up to the 2nd floor and you'll find Vivienne Hair with its clean, stylish interior.

It was a really big, spacious salon! The space is so wide that you won't bump into other people while getting your hair done, which I loved.

It was a weekday, yet there were quite a lot of customers, so this is clearly a place that does hair well. Good pick, haha. The space is so big that even with people dotted around, you barely notice them.

It was hot summer weather, so the curtains were drawn, but the natural light is great, so with the curtains open it would probably feel a bit like a café.
How much is object dye at Vivienne Hair?
Vivienne Hair's object line (오브제 라인) costs ₩88,000 for object dye in size S, ₩99,000 for M and ₩110,000 for L. Vivienne Hair in Sangnam-dong, Changwon, is well known as a place that's good at dyeing, and I hear it nails even unusual colors.

- Root dye ₩66,000
- Dye (men) ₩66,000
- Object dye S ₩88,000 / M ₩99,000 / L ₩110,000
- Object bleach S ₩99,000 / M ₩110,000 / L ₩133,000
If you combine root dye with a scalp refresh, you can get your hair done at a more reasonable price! What I chose this time was object dye.
How did the tone-down dye consultation go?
The Vivienne Hair designer carefully checked the current condition of my hair before dyeing. I'm someone who believes the expert is right!, so I'd gone in thinking only of a simple tone-down, but since my hair isn't an easy case, I decided to just go with whatever the designer suggested. Below is my 'before' photo.

It had been quite a while since my last tone-down dye, and my hair color was faded by pool water and split into layers...
The object dye process
Time to actually dye!!! The Vivienne Hair designer was really fast and meticulous. Applying the dye section by section in quick, neat strokes, you could feel the professional skill. The dye went on evenly from roots to ends while keeping scalp irritation to a minimum. Watching the technique was half the fun, haha.

While waiting, they gave me snacks and iced tea, so I passed the time happily munching away.

I moved to the shampoo room to rinse out the dye, and there I took a trip to paradise (무릉도원, a mythical peach-blossom utopia). And here's my finished 'after' photo!

How did the object tone-down dye turn out on faded hair?
After Vivienne Hair's object dye, the blotchy layers were gone and I had an even, classy tone-down color. When I looked in the mirror after blow-drying, I wondered where those blotchy layers had gone! It wasn't just dyed flat black.
Dark hair can end up looking heavy and dull, like squid-ink dye, if it's done badly, but the object dye seems to have a subtle gloss too... My hair was in pretty bad shape, so I'd worried it might get even more damaged, but it felt neater and the texture even seemed better!!! My complexion looked brighter after dyeing too, so I felt glad I'd done it.

When I left, they also gave me an Ahyunche hair cream! Vivienne Hair, the Changwon hair salon that's good at dyeing: I'm glad I did it!! With an expert's touch, there was never a dull moment, and I ended up with hair I love.
Verdict: is Vivienne Hair in Sangnam-dong worth it for hair dye?
Thanks to Vivienne Hair in Sangnam-dong, Changwon, I escaped my messy hair. I'd hesitated and put it off, afraid of damaging my hair even more. Why did I do that.. now that it's done, it looks so neat!!!
