Masan lash salon: glue-free extensions for sensitive eyes at W Beauty

Before a trip, the thing to prepare is lash extensions for photos!! When it's hot, makeup is a pain, so having lashes done is important, you know... After searching and searching, I visited W Beauty, a Masan lash salon with lots of reviews and good ratings!

Where is W Beauty Changwon Masan branch, and where do you park?

W Beauty Lash & Waxing & Brow, Changwon Masan branch is at 601, 8 Gapo-ro, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon, Gyeongnam. It's on the 6th floor of the Lotteria building near Kyungnam University, in the building next to Artbox!

Important parking info!! The building has tower parking, but some vehicles, like SUVs and the Ray, aren't allowed.

• After using the parking tower, get your parking ticket stamped by the staff
• Public parking lot behind the building (free)
• The Seojung Middle School lot is open on weekdays after 6 pm, weekends and school vacations

I used the tower parking and went up to the 6th floor!

What is the atmosphere like at W Beauty?

W Beauty is really spacious, and unlike a typical beauty shop it had a café feel. This is a bit different from the salons I usually go to...?

The waiting area is decorated in a cozy mood too. There were people waiting, and they were practically lying down while they waited, haha.

Which curl and length for travel-photo lash extensions?

On the director's recommendation, I went with a mix of JC and C curls at 9–10mm. I told her I usually get a JC curl at a not-too-showy 8–9mm, and she asked, since I'd be taking lots of photos on the trip, how about a JC and C curl mix at 9–10mm so I'd look good in pictures too, and I said yes, haha. I just walked in thinking "I'm getting lash extensions~" with no plan... you have to follow the expert's opinion.

They gave me delicious coffee and we chatted while I drank it. The coffee was brewed with care, just like a café, haha. They even brought water too, such a thoughtful touch.

The space for lash extensions and lash lifts is spotlessly clean too.... There was a desk on one side, and when I asked, they said W Beauty also runs an academy. Wow.. their skill is proven, haha.

A no-touch technique so relaxing I fell asleep

W Beauty uses a "no-touch technique" that doesn't press on or irritate the customer's face, so I slept like a baby during my lash extensions. Hands hardly touch your face, so I just drifted off, haha. The process is comfortable, your makeup doesn't get wiped off, and there's little irritation.

My lashes are sparse and limp... and short, so I love extensions...

After! I almost never do a C curl, but W Beauty did it so it wasn't overwhelming. I genuinely loved it!!!! The length isn't bothersome and they're light, so there was no foreign feeling when opening and closing my eyes.

Who is the W High-End LED Extension good for?

The "W High-End LED Extension" I chose is a bit pricey, but they say it lasts 1.5 to 2 times longer than regular extensions, so it's great for people who swim, work out or go to saunas often. I went from dead-fish eyes to fresh-fish eyes, hahaha.

Any eye stinging with sensitive eyes?

W Beauty's LED extensions use no glue, so there was no stinging and my eyes felt comfortable even right afterward. My eyes are a bit sensitive, so with extensions I often got a tear-streaming party and red eyes, but this time it was good! They also say you can work out or wash right after.

On the way out they give you a lash brush with a character on it... I've never gotten such a cute brush, haha. I picked the adorable Tanning Kitty!!!
