Gwangalli sashimi restaurant with shrimp jang and gonowata: Geumrang
Geumrang Hoetjip Gwangalli Main Branch is a sashimi restaurant on the 6th floor of Marine Rich, right in front of Minrak Waterside Park in Gwangalli, Busan, with a Gwangan Bridge view. On a Sunday afternoon a couple ordered the Subyeon hansang, a waterside set with free sashimi refills, and the table filled up with three kinds of seafood, live octopus, shrimp jang and abalone before the assorted sashimi arrived — sea bass, flounder, red seabream, red seabream belly and rockfish, dipped in gonowata (fermented sea cucumber innards). They were too full for a sashimi refill but still finished the addictive fried corn at the end, a spread generous enough to bring your parents to.
