Sindorim Sambaekga at 8 PM: what I ordered when jokbal and kalguksu were sold out
I ordered the Sambaek Bossam + Makguksu set for ₩41,000, and upgraded the bossam to large for ₩9,000 more! Sambaekga has a wide menu: bossam and jokbal (pig's trotters), plus makguksu, kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup), various meals and side dishes! I got there around eight, and they told me the jokbal was sold out T_T

I'd read lots of reviews saying Sambaekga's kalguksu is really good and was curious, but the kalguksu was sold out too T_T T_T T_T It even comes with barley rice, so wouldn't that have been the perfect pairing... ❤️

Sindorim Sambaekga side dishes: persimmon geotjeori
Here are the basic side dishes! The geotjeori (fresh-tossed kimchi) has persimmon in it, so the sweetness seemed like it would go well with the bossam.

How is the bossam at Sindorim Sambaekga? Kept hot on a burner to the end
The bossam came out on a burner, so the meat didn't go cold while we ate. After a short wait after ordering, a generous bossam spread was set out :) Being able to eat the meat warm the whole meal was great 👍🏻👍🏻

The bossam was tender with no gamey smell, and it went neatly with kimchi, buchu muchim (seasoned garlic chives) and wrap vegetables!

Bossam really is best with kimchi, I think haha. Put kimchi on a piece of meat, wrap it up with the garlic chives too, and your mouth is full of flavor 😊

Garlic sauce and makguksu at Sindorim Sambaekga, just like the reviews
The garlic sauce was pleasantly sharp and sweet, and I scraped up every last bit haha. Lots of reviews said the garlic sauce is great, and it really was…!?
The makguksu was sweet and tangy and delicious too haha. I was so curious how much better the kalguksu would have been…! 🥹🥹

Orange juice was ready for dessert too! A perfect finish 😎
