Anyone out there whose upper arms just won't slim down no matter how much you diet?! I'm not getting married, but I wanted to wear sleeveless tops, so I went for arm care, and the results were so good that I'm writing this up fast!! Here's my review of the arm slimming treatment at Yedaum, a bridal care salon in Chuncheon. Whoosh!!
*Results feel different for everyone, but for me the change in my arm line showed up around the one-week mark!
Yedaum location, opening hours and parking
Yedaum is at 21 Chuncheon-ro 17beon-gil, Unit 203, Chuncheon, Gangwon, South Korea. It's open 10:00-21:00 on weekdays and 10:00-18:00 on weekends, closed every Tuesday, and parking is free.
It's reservation-only, and evening slots are often full of bridal care bookings, so I recommend booking at least 2 weeks ahead!! I heard lots of brides go here, so I came to crush my upper arms, haha.
It's about a 10-minute walk from Nam-Chuncheon Station, but the weather's so hot these days that I'd recommend a taxi. Parking is available too, so driving is also fine. Just park in the underground car park.
With so many different treatments, the rooms are set up a little differently too! The air conditioning was blasting, and the owner greeted me kindly.
What is Cyblo?
Yedaum offers all these different wedding care treatments, and today I decided to go with the Cyblo arm 4000-shot treatment!!
Cyblo is a device that combines DPL (HIFU) technology with X mode (combined modulation RF + HVMC electrical stimulation)!! It's a multi-purpose skin care treatment designed to stimulate different depths, from the fascia layer (SMAS) to the dermis and subcutaneous fat. It can be used on the face too, but I had it on my body (arms) for slimming.
Why I wanted care for my arms and bra-line bulge
First, look at my arms: even when I diet, it's only the upper arms that stubbornly refuse to slim down. The stress from this is enormous... So even in summer I wear clothes that hide my bra-line bulge and arms, and sleeveless tops are just a dream, sob.
The Cyblo arm 4000-shot treatment process
This is where I'll be getting my treatment today! At most aesthetic salons you only change your top and keep your own trousers on, but in weather like this that gets sweaty and miserable. Yedaum has shorts, so it was so comfortable!
Step 1 - Tightening the fascia layer with a rolling motion
⭐️Treatment start⭐️ Step 1 feels like rolling, and I felt no stimulation at all (it varies by person). You hear a beep-beep machine sound, and with each beep the temperature rises to 75 degrees to tighten the sagging fascia layer. The arm position is changed like this to target several areas!
Step 2 - 5 minutes of warmth, 3 minutes of electrical stimulation
In step 2, the first 5 minutes are warm and heating, and the last 3 minutes bring electrical stimulation, which is where you have to endure it a little.... Maybe because it was my first time getting this kind of arm treatment, the 3 minutes of electrical stimulation was a totally unfamiliar sensation.
Areas with less flesh felt stronger, so I started at intensity 2 on the outer arm and lowered it to intensity 1 for the inner part. The director adjusted the intensity right away based on my reactions, so I could get through it without strain.
From the photos it looks really short, but they do this evenly on both arms for 1 hour. Afterwards I was dripping with sweat...
When I changed and came out, warm tea was ready for me. It hurt, but seeing the owner's face-lifting results, I toughed it out, haha. I heard massaging your arms helps even more, so I squeezed and kneaded them often!

Ta-da!! Can you see how the arm line looks tidier? I wore the same clothes on purpose for the photo ^^ Sorry about the dirty mirror. My arms are definitely softer and slimmer overall! Thinner is what I really want, but I'm so happy to see this much of an effect from just one session!!!
