I visited Halls Gimbap Main Branch, a gimbap (seaweed rice roll) restaurant near Gyodae ( ＾∀＾) It's a great spot when you're craving a neat, satisfying meal around the Gyodae area ~

This place used to be Zero Gimbap Seocho branch and has been running unchanged for over 8 years, so it's a trusted go-to. They say the combo of stuffed-full premium gimbap and crispy dakgangjeong (Korean fried chicken) is what makes it good ٩( ᐛ )و

Can you eat alone at Halls Gimbap Main Branch near Gyodae Station?

Halls Gimbap Main Branch has white oval tables and a bar-style counter table, so it doesn't feel awkward at all to come alone and eat solo~

On my way out the whole dining room was packed with customers and the delivery phone kept ringing nonstop, so it's clearly super popular!!

There's also an outdoor terrace table set up near the entrance 🧺 On a nice day, sitting outside feeling the breeze while enjoying tidy street food is full of good vibes.

Inside the store there's a neatly arranged display of various cup noodles, so when gimbap alone feels like it's not quite enough, you can grab hot water and pair one in perfectly ~

They also have cabbage protein tteokbokki, so there's tteokbokki that's great for anyone on a diet too — that looked really nice ( ´∀｀)

The gimbap looked really pretty from the visuals alone — so colorful. It's thinly laid out over healthy black rice, so it almost felt like keto gimbap, and it seemed great for a diet-friendly meal too. What is this gimbap visual ?????🍙

The dakgangjeong that came with the set was genuinely delicious. They say they use domestic refrigerated chicken thigh meat prepared fresh every dawn, and there wasn't a hint of gamey smell — the meat inside was moist and tender. The sweet-spicy sauce and crispy batter were great, and topped with a slice of cheongyang chili pepper as an accent, you can enjoy it cleanly without any greasiness.

Cucumber, carrot, and egg omelet strips are shredded thin and delicately packed in, so the moment you bite in, a fresh, crunchy texture bursts through. The savory salty Spam, soft egg omelet, and crunchy cucumber balance out nicely — light and delicious with nothing to dislike ~!!

Eating the cup noodle alongside it was tasty too~

On a nice day, I'd recommend grabbing it to go for an outing to the Han River or a nearby park ☀️🧺✨
