The writer ordered an alligator pie, a lemon madeleine, a 6-flavor Gangnam Sand set and the best-selling salt cream coffee, and loved the flaky pie layers, the tangy lemon glaze and the salty cream with bitter coffee. Bakerist Brown is a Sinnonhyeon dessert café with a wide range of breads and genuinely good coffee.

Korean beef BBQ family gathering in Songnidan-gil: Sutbul Seonghwa

Sutbul Seonghwa (숯불성화) is a charcoal-grilled hanwoo (Korean beef) restaurant on Songnidan-gil near Seokchon Station in Songpa, Seoul. For a family gathering, the writer walked in right after break time, took a window table and ordered the Happy Day Platter 400g, spicy snowflake beef jjapaguri (a mix of two instant noodle brands) and 100% buckwheat mul-naengmyeon (cold noodles in broth), with valet parking, free corkage and staff grilling making the meal easy. Aged hanwoo, oak charcoal aroma and attentive service made Sutbul Seonghwa a highly satisfying Songnidan-gil spot for a family meal out.

TONI&GUY Daechi is a hair salon on the 6th floor of a building near Exit 1 of Hanti Station in Daechi-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. Bangi Station lash salon open late for an LU curl lift: Salon de Van
