Jongno 3-ga bakery: almond crumble mugwort bread to go, Munhwa Bakery
Munhwa Bakery is a takeout-only bakery in the Ikseon-dong hanok alley in Jongno, Seoul, a 2-minute walk from Exit 7 of Jongno 3-ga Station. This order took home the signature mugwort rice cake bread at 5,700 won, topped with almond slices and crumble over a chewy crumb, plus sweet potato bread at 3,800 won with whole red bean grains in the filling and walnut bread at 3,500 won. Munhwa Bakery sells only bread baked that same day, and it is worth another stop on any walk around Jongno 3-ga.
