Myeonmok eel restaurant with stone sushi we reordered: Cheonsangae

Cheonsangae Jangeoga Myeonmok Sagajeong Branch is a charcoal-grilled freshwater eel restaurant on Myeonmok-ro in Jungnang, Seoul. We ordered the 2-person set (79,000 won), and staff grilled the eel over Yeoju charcoal. We ate it with stone-bowl sushi, grilled white wood ear mushroom, eori-guljeot (spicy salted oysters), charcoal-roasted potato and nurungji (scorched rice), and the stone-bowl sushi was good enough that we ordered more. Cheonsangae Jangeoga suits anyone in Myeonmok who wants a comfortable summer stamina meal with less worry about smoke smell.

The writer enjoyed the thick, rich tteokbokki topped with potato salad and the well-seasoned rice in the Deokja Gimbap.
